Of Course

the look he gave me
made me want to
taste everything
even if that meant
getting killed

he was the gasoline to my careless cigarette

Gave Everything

I gave you my heart, and you tore it to peices.
I gave ou my trust, and you shot me down.
I gave you the truth, and you fed me lies.
I gave you my tears, and you turned away.
Now I'm to do the same.

Kindhearted, Gentle and Forgiving

For Dane Ann's Kindhearted contest(Thanks for the challenge)

Love me when I am sick, blue and unlovable
Hold my hand when I am afraid
Talk to me when I am quiet
Listen when I want to talk
Don't push when I am slow
Run across the meadow by my side
Wipe my tears when I cry
Never leave me!!

Mum, you are only one you tolerated pain of my birth.
Related ideology is a passage of love and enjoyable myth.
A cycle of growth, you and me and me and you are all kith,
Over the centuries, a male and female has time swathe.

Around the Corner

when someone asks me where is home
i say everywhere
i say it could be here
or may not be near
because i have been to so many homes
i don't know where home is any more
but in the house that my adopted parents live in
which to me is around the corner
something will always be open for me
and that is the door
Form:

Why Did'Nt You Tell Me

yesterday while sitting in my spot
a man sat next to me who smoked alot
indeed the building was smoke free and secure
but he had an odor of cigarettes thats for sure
i thought to myself does he have the ash tray on his person
could he have been smoking behind a curtian
was this what i was like when i smoked too
tell me the truth is this true

Open Hand

SHE BOUGHT ME

BUTTER AND BREAD,

WHAT A PHONE CALL CAN DO.

A TWENTY DOLLAR BILL KEEPS ME IN THE RACE.

WHAT HELPS ME SLEEP AT NIGHT WOULD MAKE AN ANGEL CRY,

A WOMAN WEEP.

I SLEEP WITH MY EYES OPEN

AND HAVE LEARNED THE LANGUAGE OF EMBARRASSMENT.

THESE ARE MY TRAVELS NOW........

I SO DETEST THE SITE OF MY OWN OPEN HAND,YET

I CAN NOT CLOSE IT.

Us

Today we start another day together.
Hpw are we going to spend it?
Are you going to smother me, hover over me, control me?
Are you going to let me have some freedom?
I need to be me, whomever that might be.
Not what you want me to be.
Things change, situations change, life changes.
God saw fit to let me live, now you have to.
Let'd break from these changes and start another day together.
