Such Christmassy News

My husband’s post-concussion work injury barely improved this past year. Dizziness and headaches still plague him. No solution have I found for my own rare conditions. My son nearly got divorced. My dear daughter got breast cancer and continues with treatments even now. May good outweigh the bad in '24.

"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning". ~ ~ ~ Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: Thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; ~ To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. ~ O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever." - Fr. "Psalms 30" ~~ [ https://www.bible.com/bible/1/PSA.30.KJV ]

Why should words written more than a thousand years ago give you any comfort today? You've 'checked' all those proverbial 'boxes', I'm sure, but instead of successes, more problems arise. Because I know your heart (so powerfully on display here), I know I can say, keep believing in The Good ~ "Keep the faith" as the expression goes. You're surrounded by loving kindness. " Ask, and you shall receive; seek and you shall find; knock in the door will be opened" ~

Hmmm they never had drug side effects in biblical days. And their crops were not depleted of nutrients. But there is much good to be said for modern times nonetheless.

OMG does life deal some pretty awful things. I believe there is a lot of bad things happening to many of us--such is life. Yours has more than its fair share. At some point I can share more with you and we can have a contest to see who has had the more difficult year. Be that as it may, I am thinking good thoughts for you because you are a saint at home and here as well. I am wishing good thoughts for your daughter as well.
