Cosmetic Beauty

What a beautiful face it seems
Her teeth is perfect and white as she beams
Why don't I have that beauty one screams
And so to the beauty parlour with many dreams
to get makeup treatments and many creams
And another falls to the cosmetic industry schemes
For the beautiful face is a product of Photoshop teams
Its the lasting inward character beauty that redeems
But the passing cosmetic fools gold is what society esteems

A wonderful Monorhyme you have created Ahmed. One tiny grammar error in your second line should read 'teeth are perfect' This form is challenging and you did very well! : )

Yes it was for that contest. However, it didn't make it at all. I am reading all the poems on the soup and trying to learn to better myself. I like rhyming, however, in Fiji, we dont necessarily pronounce everything correctly.

Thank you. I have just started after a break of 40 years and so this is an encouragement to me.
