Trap Door
The man was dangling, kicking, scared,
His hooded blindness no relief;
The hangman coldly watched him die:
Now one less killer, one less thief....

It’s certain Donald Trump will go
down in history – that much I do know.
Better still if it’s through a trap door
under his feet on a scaffold’s floor....

This a place of souls
more precious than all the gold,
payment without sin
to heaven one is promised.
The trap door to hell, busy.

Trap door spider I ponder your fate
Your wife comes to save you, seconds too late.
As a favor, this is what I will do.
I’ll send her to heaven, with the same shoe....

De Sadedly
keeping her
in the keep
the key
word is that
this trap has
a trap door
which is kept
locked

but in the cell
of my mind
she is at least
allowed to wander off
in a wonder of
aimless thought
but if she were
to be kept in

my heart's
cell deep in
the beating
of passion
she would never
see day's
light
again...

Fabulous Fun Footles
I Love my Mother in law.

Phone rings
Ear stings

Door knocks
Nerve shocks

Come in
Large gin

Be nice
Head lice

Hair gel
Strong smell

Stale wee
Flows free

Stand here
My dear

Trap door
what for

Goodbye
Large sigh

In jail
Good tale.

Secrete
Our minds...
Our thoughts secrete...

Mind blockers uphold discrete...

...The trap door ever ready...

...Our forgiveness firm and steady...

...When called upon to act...

...We talk, we listen, we track...

...Within burning building we save...

...The saviour in us at best...

...Our minds...
...Our thoughts secrete...

...Mind blockers uphold discrete......

Melodrama
The Gothic Quest had best
Not seek to really wrest
The truth from underneath
Time’s tightly shrouded sheath.

Across each quaint old tale
Is stretched a taut black veil
To cloak the primal dread
Hinted at, not said.

The creaking castle door—
The trap door in the floor—
Mere stage props in your soul:
Each man has a start.
There you play your part....

Gifting Away
Want to return,
to unknowing, the
trap door.

Filling up the gaps,
the arrow slits. No more
I will need weapons.

Trespassing the,
brutality of sin, committed
against the sanctity?

of body. This is how
I am re-creating myself
without morbidity.

Annihilation , was not
the answer. I am holding
the gold leaves of sun.

For Phillip
I thought he would be
A spirit of me
Beautiful son that I bore

How could I see
There would be no key
To unlock the steel trap door

I knew in my heart
He would never depart
From the love that he would send

You were wrong, says he
You are not like me
And my soul shall never mend

In hope now I pray
There will come a day
When my son will rise from the gray...

The Door
Behind the door,
Lay your shattered tears in seafloor,

Pardon my betrayal outdoor,
My heart wandered away indoor,
Through the trap door,

Never let this guy indoor,
She recalled his spoor,
Washing the floor,

Broken doorknobs,
A love stopped to a hidden doorsill,
He laments in the dooryard.

Doorways dispersed the doorstops...

Crying her heart, a home withoutdoors,
Dead as a doornail......

Premium Member The Deeper Reality
Beneath the busy theater,
a little trap door,
modest and illusive,
opens to a space
infinite and peaceful—
a broader dimension,
resonant and real—
the silent birthing chamber
of all possibilities,
including, by surprise,
the gears animating
the action on the set.
One may find the door
and bask in this continuum
by stepping out of character
and shrugging off one’s script,
releasing and recasting
preconceived props....

Covid Anxiety Written: by Miracle Man October 5, 2021 With head hung low I display my dread, like a blindfolded person I can’t see what’s ahead. I no longer strut like a perky street glider, but remain holed up like a trap door spider. Before leaving the house for some daily task I hear, “wear your gloves and don’t forget your mask” Not venturing out but for my weekly essentials, And occasionally I’m asked to see jab card credentials.

MURDER BE KIND

Murder be kind
Kind as a mistress
Intense as a fan
Doting as a bride
Flamboyant as a flamingo
Prodding as a detective
Wishy-washy as a drunk

Standing over a trap door
Shot
Stared down

Who killed the groom
Should we presume
Or do we get in line
With three-thousand excuses

The guilty one holds the ticket
Unashamed
And grinning
As he is revealed
He’s just-a-kid

A kid who understands none of it!
