At the Pawn Shop

This a place of souls
more precious than all the gold,
payment without sin
to heaven one is promised.
The trap door to hell, busy.

This world is a filter having a small door where souls are poured into it and it is only possible to be passed out when one is purified. In the name of virtue sin is done and keep busy to go to heaven which ultimately leads to the trap door to hell. My sweet friend, it's a great truth of mystery. You have worded this clever poem very beautifully. Loved always, bl

Very clever Harry! I wanted to say a special thanks for being so encouraging. People like you Harry make it a pleasure to write. I use to write only for myself, I must say this is a lot more fun. I have learned so much since I joined and writers like yourself inspire me.

Ingenious! Pawning one's soul. I never thought of it that way. But good poetry always moves our thinking in new directions
