Appeasement
tithes, alms, to atone for lies and murder,

                      warlord, the kind provider,

                         feeling saved all over !...

Fault Lines
Spiritual draftsmen,
builders of walls
Demanding blind homage,
 tithes of false hope

Fortressing darkness,
ministering fear
Evangelist’s rumbling
—prophets who quake

(Rosemont College: July, 2021)...

Seek God First
Seek God first.
He will add to you,
What you need.
Pay your tithes,
And in others,
Sow unselfish seeds,
Whether or not your,
Dream blessing arrives.
He's able to give you,
Way more than you can
Ask, think, or see with,
Your eyes....

A Trek Through Truism's, True Blue
Betwixt these tithes at her antiquities keen asylums; a foretokens child esoteric
Paleolithic etchings; afore their myths the caverns Acheron's absolved; loric tides..
Acute, this illness ironic it's stones ? Theology sects scribes a second coming as time....

No prisoner of faith was he

No member of religious ties

No hypocrite for all to see

No purveyor of ancient lies

No prayers spouted forth day by day

No sheep to be branded a fool

No collector of tithes to pay

No credo but the golden rule...

Apolitical
tithes, alms to atone for lies and murder

            politician, shrewd provider

            feeling saved all over

often, those who piously claim to be

            taxpayers' servile servants

            are but public serpents !...

I sense happiness
because the Son never sets
on faith, hope, and love
now a baby is diff'rent
one must plan ahead
yes, the head not the body
must call the shots, shoots:
as love peeks at sun and Son
one prays for wisdom
and faithfulness, kingdom reign
as with tithes, You give to test...

Joyous Giving
Joy overflows
Due to blessings given
All that I have
Love has provided

Heart returns
To the well of giving
Because he first loved me
I will give, and keep giving

Love does not change
Love does not end
Love endures and mercy is given
Love brings my tithes back to the giver.

Thanks to my Preacher(dad) for the inspiraton! Love you!!...

Sipping Her Beauty's Wine
Tableau this fashion's design; laying out her beauty's puzzle ?
In tantalizing light majestic of, bluish gray; love's Maltese kittens
Years were claimed his rocking chair production ? Hydrospheric time
Clasp it's cup and fragrant petals; their evening stars burlesque de facto....
Symbolized velvet tides pervious her kiss sublime Gemini, she shares my tithes....

BEGGAR LADY ON A CHURCH STEP
   (APROPOS IN GOD WE TRUST)

Her lips quivered with despair
as the frail hand struggled with its self
to position outstretched.

Tormented eyes bulged
from cryptic sockets:
testaments of hunger’s victory.

Then loudly can the chilling voice
piercing the solemn silence screaming:

“Go away! Can’t you see
this is a church step!”

Then the saved ones
went in to pray.

I gave her my tithes
and walked away....

Theology exists above and beyond the Church
Holy Orders create an esteemed priest from a humble man
Everlasting life surrounds all those who believe

Consecrating bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus
Heavenly Father, Son and Holy Spirit watch over
Under the guiding light of candle, Monks toil
Revering wise leadership of Pope, Bishops and Clergy
Christians receive blessings, giving tithes in honor
Highest is the calling to live as a Saint eternal...

From the beginning to the end, Earth tithes.
Round the circle of eternity, she writhes.
Seemingly full, ripe, and undeniably free,
O God, be merciful to she.

Filling receptacle with such riches untold.
A harvest, a bounty, rare beauty enfolds.
Spreading love not greed is our Creators one decree
O God, be merciful to she.

Go form trusting companionships by the score,
let go of all avarice, hunger no more,
Feast on the comfort of kindnesses just be.
O God, be merciful to she....
