Notes About The Poem

A Home of Faith

Theology exists above and beyond the Church
Holy Orders create an esteemed priest from a humble man
Everlasting life surrounds all those who believe

Consecrating bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus
Heavenly Father, Son and Holy Spirit watch over
Under the guiding light of candle, Monks toil
Revering wise leadership of Pope, Bishops and Clergy
Christians receive blessings, giving tithes in honor
Highest is the calling to live as a Saint eternal

It's an unforced teaching and ministerial voice fit for all pulpits. Indeed, reflections on God transcends His church.

Thank you, I agree. I always feel in touch with the faith of the world when I'm in church or alone in prayer. Faith is an amazingly strong connection.

Hi Alex, Faith is important to serenity in a sinful world. Priests are getting tossed out(#shameful) by the current Pope. See Father Pavone! I hope the Catholic Church maintains, not sells out Its basic tenets. But it has, Alex. This saddens me. Your poem in beautiful! Panagiota Romios
