dark clouds rumble on
echos of flashing lights strike
thunder’s wrath revealed.

It was raining when I met you,
and sunny when you left;
the thunder told me your name,
and the sun's rays help me forget.
nights of thunderstorms
rain-drenched boughs, damp forest floors
days of mushroom spores
dark clouds romp across the sky
crashing thunder when they bump
flirting with a chance of rain
always getting my hopes up!
lightning streaks dark skies
thunder rumbles in distance

All scout boats grounded.
