mountain-sized clouds
dark and churning
a storm threatens
freedom-starved mankind
marches in the streets

This is awesome PS from start to finish. I see you mentioned Connie here, who recently left the earth for more peaceful altitudes. I am glad you liked this one—and reminded me of Connie’s inspiration. She was just such a good soul and of course the world and this site are poorer for the loss of her. But oh, how perfectly put, she has “left the earth for more peaceful altitudes.” <3 ps

I don't remember where, but Connie posted a link to a video of people round the world demonstrating over lockdowns and mandates. It is a very powerful thing to see. That inspired this poem. :)
