Tet Flowers

Many rose petals floating downstream on a gleaming river
They move so slowly, almost getting lost in the sun's white glare
The monks on the riverbank seem lost in idle reverie

Jules - Tet

Jules
Buoyant
Inspired
Sylph in his eyes
Lost in the fog where restive hearts reside
Will she surrender her passionate flame?
It's all he wants
To be named
Whispered
Craved.

Premium Member Strong

Knarled tree hanging on by the sea
Fighting or surviving a tet-a-te
No! Just being, resting, in the wind
Stronger than the lighthouse built by man

You,
It's you,
Always has been,
Maybe always will be,
Every other thought is you,
I can't even escape with dreams,
Will it ever be over,
This torture you bring,
Leaving only pain,
All because,
You.

Swift
 Little
 Beauties dart
 About seeking
 Nectar from nature's colorful flowers

 Catch
 A glimpse
 Of them when
 They perch, then off
They go, hovering in iridescent glow

Hearts Will Break - Tet

Love
Will come
Love will go
And hearts will break
But hearts will mend and love will come again

Years will pass and hair will turn to silver
And hearts will smile
Having loved -
Loving
Still

Premium Member Dinner After the Dance - Tet

I
dance with
the ocean
jumping blue waves -
soaking in its stretch of sun-drenched beauty

When the sun sinks low, I dine with the sky
as I devour
dusk's hues and
imbibe
peace.

Gourmand - TET

Sight
Smells Good
Tastes good too
Let me touch it
My four senses all like the beef jerky

My fifth sense hears the complaints of my choice
What do I care
it's sole food
old shoes

Boundless Dreams Tet

wild
monsoon
drizzled love
long years ago
perfume of petrichor spilled all over....

an old photograph falls out of the book
one tear drop sheds
your thoughts flood
boundless
dreams.

Cloaking

Lost unto a Gin spin
The blood grows thin
To the beckoning
Of a morning hangover of regret
And reading the tet a tet
Of slurring rambling
The pre-amble
Shall read
Here lies the afterbirth
Of the Man Child Boy
Who writes until the morning
Comes to fetch what is left
Of the night before
Bore the brunt of self loathing
In Emperor's cloaking
age

SMILE OF SUNFLOWER TET

     Shy
     soft sweet
     silent smile
     of sunflower
seeing so dazzling shiny Sun glistening.

Flowers loved and bathed by sunbeam showers
     in opulence
    turns smart head
    to face
    Sun.

Premium Member In a State of Sorrow - Tet

Joy
                     Has turned
                      To sorrow
               When you left me
Love no longer lives in my heart, it died

Grief, loneliness and sadness comforts me
              Why did you leave?
                     I miss you
                        Darling
                          Bye

Premium Member Golden Time

Golden leaves upon the pear trees
No fruit to ripen though
Spring's frost killed it all in the bud
Always hope for next year's to grow

The air is damp and cool again
Charcoal gray clouds move in
There's a tet-a-tee between fall
And winter to begin

We never know about the seasons
It's unsure just like life
Which can zap us with unreason
Or blessings flow without strife

                       Bitter cold
                    Winter season
A time to hibernate, relax and rest

       A time for rejuvenation, rebirth
                  Springtime season
                    Warmth returns
                         Joyful

Trump Thoroughly Upset

Trump Thoroughly Upset

Starting this one from scratch.

Trump is upset and has made us upset;
Seems to fool around and always fret;
Injured in shade,
By a grenade,
Was in offensive he thinks they call Tet.

He even lied about this. What spurs him on
amazes me and I have many bones to pick
with him. Have heard he has Vietnam Vet
on his license plate as of late. Oh, and he
is offensive in many ways these days.
