The Paintings
Portrayed
We were in a frame
Spinning smiles and years
To the man in the tailored suit
We sat sarcastic and cynnical and grave
Fading and buried by age......

Punditry
Bound within hero norms
pilfered from the pulpit,
games twist tailored tempests
crafting men as monsters

with derision conquered
by illumined command:
complicity in stabs
while changing the channel....

A Thread of Love
A fine tailored suit
Hand and glove
A perfect fit
We were in love.

A favorite dress
Now threadbare
It fell apart
We didn’t care.

We clung to a thread
Now undone
We wasted it
And now it’s gone....

Threads
The tailored line,
bespoken Poet

With needle sharp,
to hem and sew it

Where thoughts as threads,
stitch out as whole

Whose words once seamed
—contain my soul

Greenback Blood
Rogue, conniving, greedy leeching tick
Smells of money's fresh ink, makes me sick
Tailored suits, polished shoes
Bet you have green stool ooze!
Money makes green blood, sweat, tears and tricks!

Tailored Slipper
Roses are Red, Violets are Blue
Who would have knew
Our love would have grew
Into this
Surpassed seduction
Temptation and bliss
Still bound by our very first kiss
And the children you gave me
Rose are Red, Violets are Blue
For if who else s foot if not You
Fits my glass slipper

Revenge of the Balls
Marbles of different colors
Wobble on a board
Striped or solid colors
Numbers all aboard

Carpals, long or short
With a stick, prong or jolt
Balls babble on the spot
Squabble on each dreamed slot

Sides or corners on target
Minds at play don't forget
Which side and in what tune would you like to play for...
Table or tailored floor?...

Shape of Rest
Adventure past the sea,
there lies a treasure,
value worth a thousand sea's
tailored in gift's,
honed by grit

 Time lies to
only the believer
of it's exitance.
Become free,
 Understand the un-understandable,
 Shape the clouds
with visions of the sun.
 Shape the sun
with visions of the moon
 Shape the earth
with visions of love....

Premium Member What Is Not Meant To Be Seen
Purple hearts bloom from
stormy weather, while tailored
souls fall from rain clouds

Psychedelic rage taste as
sweet as cotton candy

While rage is like the
clouded mind of a
Serial Killer

Mended minds
Shattered shadows are cast upon
the darkness of our inner soul

Forming not only what is made to be
seen but what is Forbidden to see....

Before I Leave
Captured a roaming flirty me.
In my nice tailored garb for Eve.
Rosy cheek, nervous, served in sleet.
Cookies and milk scarfed, forced fore’ leave.
Then I ride, slay.
Kiss…alright, babe.

Urgently, sturdy, hurried me.
For thunderous powerful steed
like stag, not solo curling feet.
For exercise in far from scene.
Seen in star high.
Sleep a warm night....

Uncoloured
Uncoloured
Untailored
Unzipped
Untied
Unmasked
Untangled

I am unidentified, for no-one can claim to know the depth of my well.
I am no coloured frame of happiness.
I am no tailored garment.
I am not a zipped up pants
I am not a perfectly tied up ponytail.
I am masked with flaws yes.
I am untangling myself from a deeper web.

I am too uncoloured to fit....

Only If
If he had my eyes
What would he see
The chaos, the hurt
Uncontrollable tears
The darkness I lay in
If he had my eyes
Would he see reflection of others
Shoes well shined
Tux cleaned and tailored
A thousand dollar smile
Let me tell him pleads my heart
What you see, was never there
Look to the mirror
If he had my eyes
He would know where the pain truly lies...

Premium Member Limerick: Once a Maneater Who Could Not Say No
Limerick: Once a Maneater who ne’er said “No!”

for Ronald W. Hull, the Great Mentor-Commentator

[Made to measure and tailored to a very tight fit]

Once a woman who could ne’er say “No!”
Met Ascetic: “Why?” he wanted to know.
Said she: “I’m no Vegan;
Meat I munch by the dozen.”
Priapic rigor mortis ensued: O! Woe!

Unlikeness
I used to know a poet. His slovenly disheveled poems reminded me an alcohol-prone loser’s beard, but in person he happened to be a clean-shaven, well-tailored gentleman who hasn't had a drop since Bicentennial. And sometimes it's just the other way round: aristocratic rhymes on closer examination turn into dipsomaniacs.

poets and their poems
don't resemble each other -
poets die poems don't...

All Roads Lead To Change
New experiences,
like an uncomfortable piece of clothing,
	are hard to fit into.
They bind and pull,
	slip and slide.
One may tug really hard
to fit into this change of clothing.
You slide into place,
becoming at one with the fabric,
or it bulges and splits wide open.
It can be mended or tailored to fit.
Different,
	yet just right!

Miracles Are Common
It has been said that Miracles do not occur.
In fact they are taken for granted here on Earth
As we commonly call them the "laws of nature" -
They appear tailored to our planet from its birth.

Nowhere else have we found in this universe
Where it is neither too hot nor too cold to live,
And where water and air are abundant and free -
Divine intervention - a miracle to give
