Lonely Laxative

What did we do with lonely laxative;
We would be giving it to a relative;
Create a storm,
In tablet form,
And now a loose life he loves to live.

that's the spelling of disease,
harmful and painfully killing me.
How in the world will I combat thee?

Take one tablet by mouth 4 days a week.

She has yet to hear the screaming, this new child of my child;
the news of angry wars, pumped out, merely ambient background.

Too soon, tablet in hand, she will search, see, and wonder: why?

Sans Pen

Is there no pen in sight
Or tablet to inscribe
How may I then enthrall
Visions to Imbibe

So, I raise my glass
To merry thoughts of Spring
Far beyond the lull of Fall
Sans pen, I may drink

Premium Member They Hold Me Together

With ball point in hand,

 I write anew.

 On tablet command

 my point-of-view,

one for only them to see.

 These two objects won't disagree.

I hold them together, as they do me.

This is a Brevette not Blank Verse..Brevette was not on the list on my tablet don't know if it is in the list or not but I think it is on my PC..

Biblically 10- Finale

it always wasn't
since then ten

Mel Brooks had
fifteen until he

dropped a tablet
cracking like

a joke that we
all can believe

in again and sin
again because

we don't know
what were

Premium Member Eating Our Words

It is 12:45 P.M. and I haven’t moved, except my fingers on the tablet, tapping out poem after poem. Funny how such actions do not move the scale.

How do poets gain weight without food?
Why do we eat without thought?

Channels

God said nothing, wrote nothing,
this is how the mystery works;

the soul of mankind is a radio,
a quill, pen, a stylus, or tablet.

The eyes of the mind are a TV
through which God speaks and appears
as You.

Once though He did use a tablet,
a stone one.

Premium Member Last Words

A cemetery stone, my tablet cold.
An epitaph I read — the shards drool.
Those pretty words! I long to finger gold.
Instead reflective glass, the story’s cruel.

Premium Member Tablet Trouble

My tablet wasn't charging, there must have been a glitch I jiggled the white cable, and soon got to screaming pitch I asked my helpful hubby, if could he sort out the hitch Then hubby started laughing... I’d not flicked the 'on' switch! 2/18/18

Premium Member Poem In My Pocket

There's a poem in my pocket
a rhythm in my head,
There's a tablet in my bag
and a journal by my bed;

There's a catchy phrase
scratching at my skin,
There is a couplet
searching for a friend;

There's a reason
looking for a rhyme;
A way to freeze a thought
Forever in time.

Can’t sleep
Counts sheep

Shuts eyes
And thighs (LOL)

Him snore
Won’t score

So tired
Inspired

Gets up
Tea cup

Tablet?
Not yet

Lies down
Big frown

Needs loo
Have to

Get up
Use butt

Bed time
Divine

I snore
Once more

Epitaph

Yes, I hear him
His soul sings still
His tablet, with words is filled
Living, yet on
His melodies of life
Betray him not
Did his pen and his pad
Renaissance man of his millennium
A savior to the verse
A miracle to the chorus
Lord of the lyrics
God’s New Headliner
(1987- )

Tablet

teardrops appeared on my tablet
on both sides of the glass
mine on top
hers underneath,
shed from miles away

which was which
who was where
did not matter
any longer

real or virtual,
all merged into one
- a brook of joy
running through the valley of time
destined for
unchartered pleasures

Rebel 15

They have bound you with the chains from their youth
Pull at the shackles that latch you to them
Rip them away and struggle for freedom
Strain against the destiny that is yours
Stretch your mind toward the heavens, smash the
Tablet of rules written by people with
No emotions, No Feelings
No hope

Part of the Machine

I have a pill to slow my heart
beat until I'm calm and serene.

I have another to make me happy,
it keeps my thoughts squeaky clean.

I have a tablet to slow my mind
and give me respite in sleep.

I have another to keep me balanced,
reasonable and keen.

Oh where would I be without these
cogs, making me part of the Machine.

Tablet

Fierce little whirlwind
Swirling and folding, effervescing
Substance collision, a nucleus
Tiny fireworks rising then bursting
A globe in a bucket of acid
Being consumed, absorbed fully, watching
This miniature landscape burning up
Under the weight of its own sun
Dispersing completely, another world
In a glass of milky way

2am

It's 2am in the morning
and even though i'm tired
my mind just can't shut off
it's like it's been rewired!

my body feels the energy
slowly falling still
but my mind is somewhere else
It's awake against my will.

I forgot to take the tablet
that sings my mind to sleep
so until tomorrow evening
I guess i'll just count sheep!

The Dissipation of Modern Rhythmic Suffering

whispering a tune
blue tablet vibrating
to the gentle wind's rhythm
as we all cooperate with blowing
locks of nostalgia

never bored in my time machine
the sands of time wave at me with
flowing currents of sincerity

i never have to wait
for the old fryer is never late
i am forever pulled in by
gravitational forces of melancholy bliss....

When Freedom Sets History In Stone

the tablets of earth are carved in stone, one tablet in Americas' 235 miles long every carving, every word every letter carved in a language known only to God, every word, every carving, every letter as perfectly carved as an amazing engraver chiseling into steel, Gods words, Gods tablets of stone are as historic as us, but as old as the garden of eden itself.

Cool Fever

This fever starts without chill:
it does not sneeze, cough,
nor are there shivers, shakes.
Drink, tablet, witchdoctor all powerless
against this most intangible malady.

It hovers like butterflies,
wings dancing. Floating air
weighed down in heartbeats,
expectant. A dull ache.

Fatigue from guessing,
rash by touch.
Love is catching -

this forever
fever untreatable.

Yours.

Little White Tablet

A little white tablet
To cure all your needs
To ease your sorrows
And to stop your tears
Just a little white tablet
That’s all you need
They say it fixs broken hearts
And woeful souls
And minds that scream
 I’m all alone
This little white tablet
It’s not all I was told
my sorrows still hurt
my tears still sting
my thoughts are screaming
I wonder if they work
If I take them all.
