I’ve got a brand new addiction I hope it doesn’t cause me friction I purchased a new Samsung tablet But my laptop I will not forget The laptop will be my tool of choice but for poetry readings the tablet will help my voice I no longer will need my poems on sheets of paper My tablet will aid me in my on stage poetry caper 09~07~16

This is very cute, Jan! Make sure the battery is well charged:) Nowadays most people on stage/etc make use of tablets. I bought Sheila a tablet (Samsung) a couple of years back, and it has changed her life!! Hugs // paul

I got a Samsung too Paul - its great but I still prefer my laptop but I will get a lot of use from it when I do open mike sessions and can still use word to pen my poems too:-) hugs Jan xx

I have seen people read from electronic devices at readings. I wish you luck in your poetic endeavors. I just have a desktop computer so I guess I am a little behind the times. Cute poem! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

I have a laptop which I love Matthew but I am going to more open mike nights and will be on stage in November reading 2 poems so it will be ideal for those times:-) hugs jan xx

lol! this is great and so true for many of us..its weird how fast I got used to using my laptop over writing on paper...now I find it difficult to actually write using a pen :)-luloo

U used a notebook and pencil when I am out but now I have the tablet I may use that - who knows I've only had it 2 days:-) hugs Jan xx

Haha Jan, Good luck with the addiction. Not mine! I prefer my PC over my phone or tablet any time. Those I use for entertainment. Guess I am old ;)

I LOVE my laptop and it will always be where I write most of my poetry but its getting old and is quite heavy ... it wouldn't fit on the music stand for poetry readings lol so the new tablet will be ideal. :-) hugs Jan xx

Oh I never want to go to rehab -lol starting writing poetry in 2013 has been the best thing to happen to me Carl - i doubt I would have got through the issues in the past couple of years without dipping my spoon in soup:-) hugs jan xx

LOL Mark:-) this is one tablet I can thoroughly recommend - have to get used to predictive text - my laptop will always be my favourite but the tablet is so much more portable:-) hugs Jan xx

lol I have hardly been here at all - I love drinking tea but wouldn't say its an addiction - everything in moderation lol except poetry of course but I never have and never will smoke:-) hugs Jan xx

It is taking getting used to the predictive text lol... am back on my laptop now - i only got the tablet yesterday and I am so pleased with it - I was far too frustrated with my hubbies phone to entertain having a smart phone myself and the tablet will be great for my poetry:-) hugs jan xx
