Blue Angels

the ingenious geese, in the pond, fluttering wings - six fountains of grace they take off like jet fighters like blue angels all in synch

Tic Toc

leonard cohen wrote
there's a crack in everything
that's how the lights in

listen to two clocks
ticking in and out of synch
there is a creak in...

kaleidoscopic dance

vibrant dancers ripple
circling weave-like structures
tiptoes synch with rhythm
for striking moves’ mixtures
like bright petals on space
twirled ballet… a rapture

A Lovely Clockwork

our hearts are in synch
spiritually beating
a physical rhyme

tempo increases
fluency arises from
movement so sublime

our quiet rhythm
a lovely clockwork
without space and time

Two Hearts

Happy and warm,
Laying in your arms.
No harm here,
Just two hearts.
They beat in synch
As i look into your eyess
Dark thoughts fade,
And finally die,
For now, i know
That you will never say goodbye.

Piggy In the Middle

Piggy in the Middle

It cant rain all the time
You cant sit out in the sun all day long
Better to be piggy in the middle
So you are able to look from both sides
Enjoy all of life's rides
In synch with her Tides

Come On Mo-Her-Fu-Ker Make Love To Me

COME ON MO-HER-FU-KER MAKE LOVE TO ME
MY BODY IS VIBRATING IN SYNCH WITH THE SONGS OF THE SHELLS
COME ON MO-HER-FU-KER MAKE LOVE TO ME
BLOOD, BODIES, FLESH, LIMBS ALL SPREAD OUT ON THE BARREN FIELDS
SENTENTIOUS SMELLS EMBRACE THE AIR
THE NOISES OF FOREPLAY FILL THE IMMEDIATE SURROUNDS
AND THEN
DEAD QUIET

Ecstasy Awaits

While each breath is exhaled
In synch with the strike of second hands
Patience becomes an unwanted friend
Nearing, we hear, we tempt
With life given to the depths
As our eyes seduce our minds

Death to the space between
As we push through and past
To become a floral arrangement
In the vase of passion

Lip Synch Misery

Two shots of rum, one shot of whiskey,
Felling kinda dumb, numb n' now im tipsy,
Headin' heaven sent, im bent like a gypsy
Oh baby please, teasin' hearts is risky.
Whoever lies, crys, dies in the mystery
of swollen sudden shock locking grace in history
Drowning out frowns before misery gets me
Two shots of rum, another of whiskey.

Relieved In Ink

Silent tears, relieved in ink, on paper smooth and cool. Heart and hand now work in synch, as strong emotions duel. There on the parchment you lie, naked, for all to see. You heave a deep cleansing sigh. At last, you can believe. Word by word you come alive, a healing balm takes form. Before long, you realize, a stronger you is born.

The Ride

the ride

the world waited
for me to catch up
I did
found it moved much too slow

I whirled twirled laughed and danced
much too fast
reluctantly slowed became aware
found the precise speed
in tune in synch in love

harmony marriage family friends
so vivid so vague
the world now too fast
watching it orbit leaving me behind
but oh what a ride

Shadows

Shadows

I am the ghost in the room
Seeing, not seen
Listening, not heard
I can feel my breath
hear the heart in my chest
Living invisibly

A shadow nothing more
Stitch myself to you
Ignored
Out of rhythm,out of synch
Your light so dim
I disappear

I reflect a different Light
One that fits just right
I cast my very own
Shadow
I am myself.
With your light
I see the shape of you
In me.

A Far Window

The sound of stones
on metal
near the empty arena
rings you back.

The sound of grazed laughter
echoing from boy to man boy
fills your screwed-down bench
with casual questions

Time to lip-synch your place
in everyone else's home.
You ruffle your hair
and imagine their vision of you.

Now you must fly, fade or fold
so you turn back
and face the wind,
fascinated by a far window.

No harm done.

A Mating Dance -revised

For a significant length of time,
    they swim in synch.
  Then rapidly fluttering their fins
like the wings of hummingbirds,
                                                     n
                          two sea horses s i
                                                    p
  swirling and swirling together
               as two become
                                                   one

When Love Reckons For a Second Time

When love reckons for a second time, like a drum, it comes on fast and hard and strong until two hearts in synch beat passion’s song. Sometimes second love may gently climb or ease sure-footed to one’s door where it sweetly seeps and saturates the soul. Love the second time is strong and yet it’s soft. It doesn’t sting or snip. It listens and reverberates the whispers of the heart. July 29, 2014 for the Contest of Nayda Ivette Negron

Mother's Valentine

You Loved me before I existed.
Yours was the first heart to beat in synch with mine.
Yours was the first voice that said, "I Love you".
Yours was the first smile to soothe my fears.
Yours were the first arms to keep me safe.
Your face was the first place that I found beauty.
Your words taught me to give my thoughts form and function.
Your patience and devotion gave me flight despite life's burdens .
You are the first person whom I Loved.
I Loved you before I existed.
