Mother's Valentine

You Loved me before I existed.
Yours was the first heart to beat in synch with mine.
Yours was the first voice that said, "I Love you".
Yours was the first smile to soothe my fears.
Yours were the first arms to keep me safe.
Your face was the first place that I found beauty.
Your words taught me to give my thoughts form and function.
Your patience and devotion gave me flight despite life's burdens .
You are the first person whom I Loved.
I Loved you before I existed.

This certainly invokes my motherly instinct! I couldn't have written it better. Thanks for sharing :)
