My dad never noticed the pond. This poetess can't help but see...

the ingenious geese,
in the pond, fluttering wings -
six fountains of grace

they take off like jet fighters
like blue angels all in synch

A lovely Tanka Kim. Your lower phrase mingles nicely with the upper phrase. I love the way you've described modern technology as an extension of nature.

Love this tanka dear Kim. A few lines that poetically describe so much to the reader that you can picture the pond and all its activity. Really clever wordplay.
