I hold the chains tight
as I swing up to the sky
with feet tucked under..
a rope between trees
hanging down in a U shape
a rolled carpet seat:
my swing in my gran’s garden
where I’d sit shaded by elms
I like to swing higher than high
Above the trees into the sky
Someday I hope my feet will zoom
Beyond the mist and touch the moon
they love the park
smoe stay after dark
they play
make there way
for this thing
that good summer spring
ITS KIDS AND
THE SWING
When life throws you a curveball, swing for the fences... it's the only way to live!

MOTHER PARK KIDS AND SWING
To slash and parry your blade
And into the battle you wade
Feint, strike and advance
Though you may death chance
Your foe will still say: Well played!
TREE SWING
Love’s spirited mood swinging from bur oak
Higher and higher towards sun
Teasing tug of french braids

I swung a magazine in a speeding blaze,
and killed five houseflies in three days.
My statistics are good, and for my money,
I'm better than Shohei Ohtunny.

my lonesome blues
A
ballad
of mood swings-
a sonnet that
sings
on invisible strings
A
ballad
of mood swings-
a picture of
verse
of togetherness lost
A little girl upon a swing
Swinging to and fro
She was too young to swing up high
She was happy swinging low
As she was such a little girl
It was the safest way to go
To find food would swing on a chandelier;
Nothing was found around or ever near;
Started looking;
No one cooking;
Part of diet did cause food to disappear.

My white ball resting upon its tee.
I approach it this first time with glee.
Swing the club and, SMACK!
Club head hits my back.
Ball still here? Worms near by hate me!
I am sitting on a blue swing
Swinging back and forth while thinking,
Watching the peaceful surrounding
Trees, plants, and grass are relaxing
A perfect time for reflecting
Spring days, as a child,
While grasping the ropes tightly,
I soared heavenward.
Now, decades later, I love
Gliding gently while I read.
Mary Catherine climbed up a tree
This was a sight to behold you see
She swung from a branch
By elastic in her pants
Showing more than she should you'll agree

Where the batter swings, if he hits the ball homerun
Why the batter hits the ball when it goes far outside the park homerun?

back in full swing,
the gorilla
took down the chandelier
after looking at his reflection
in crystals —
consumed them…catastrophic
the bleed
of the old lady’s scream

Some people say “what a crappy day!”
Seems all my vital signs are still clicking away
So I say OOOEEE!
Dance the boogie-woogie
Or let's just swing and sway with Sammy Kaye
When did I lose her
that carefree girl on the swing,
when did she go, why and where~
your last photograph
in the family scrapbook
holds a smile like sunshine.
Death form crux
Span from womb to tomb.
Still shrugging.
For your sake
It's time to muse, act shrewdly.
Who can read your yarn

My swing is where I have fun and look at everyone.
It's where I feel at peace and let my imagination increase.
It's where I look at the sun and talk to The One
Who has blessed me with many things.
Vintage faerie on a swing, do you touch the sky?
If my brother pushes me, she said, he is truly fly!
Vintage faerie on a swing, how can I be free?
You have to set your sights on love and hope and glee.
If I were an orangutan
to be the best I can
as thoughtful by nature
I'd swing through the trees
and hang by my knees
while patiently contemplating
like an abominable orange snowman
