My Swing

a rope between trees
hanging down in a U shape
a rolled carpet seat:
my swing in my gran’s garden
where I’d sit shaded by elms

That sure is one memory that I'll always treasure, Jack. My grandfather used to make me similar swings tied to the strong branches of carob trees. (my mind is going back over 3 score yrs!) Regards // paul

I remember swings like that. An old rope with a board for a seat or maybe an old tire to climb on, over, under and through. Great for memories. God Bless, JB
