Listen to my heartbeat sounds
As my soul travels inside
I scream at its horrid path
Death would swiftly come

Taylor Swift:
Her musical talent is a gift.
Her connection to her fans will not sever,

Premium Member good tailoring isn't swift

Certain yarns with needles knit
Are not strong and likely will split
So please keep in mind
The seamstress is kind
And insists on try-ons for fit

Jonathon Swift

…The mysterious life of Jonathon Swift
With satire granting the ‘dirt poor’ a lift—
His cessation left loot to house the insane
His mind was perhaps, perhaps was the same?

Jonathan Swift's
priorities could sell for a dime,
for his greatest wish
was to be big and small, all at the same time.

LIFE

Listening to the torture, the evidence of love lost,
It soothes the loneliness and heavy hollowness
Felt by so many; a smile creeps onto the face of
Each of us, knowing we are heard by the poet.

Premium Member A Swift Clerihew: Taylor's Version

Taylor Swift spins stories, her songbird-like sensations,
an underrated pop princess with poetical persuasions.
Her complex lyric lexicon, like a folklore luminary,
invites the listener to see themselves as a fellow visionary.

Footle-Swift Beats

Crowds hiss...
lost race!
Horse snorts
a curse!
Kids scream...
field clean!
Swift beats
for thieves!
Death bound...
loud sound!
Red light...
hang tight!
Crash!!! Bang!!!
Bills land!!!

A Swift Crown of a Celebrate Clan!

lonely
she sat upon the horizon's
aging firmament
like some tattoos
a sparkling diamond
seen from a side of mother's field!

now
fill'd with some celestial joy
o, star from old niger's sphere
a clanish masquerade
seen from a side of an ancestral hill
a swift crown of a celebrate clan!

Nimbus

Nimbus

Billowing plumes of white on a cerulean sky,
Proud and tall they stand aloft.
Swelling with pride, they grey with age,
Marching forwards, delivering swift judgment to whoever was so unwise as to not cower at their coming.
Flashing and smoldering with light and fury,
And pounding the earth with their tears.

Premium Member The Dawn Speeds Swift

The dawn speeds swift upon night's lovers
Dark nooks surprised by harsh sunlight
Soon startle to their morning manners
The dawn speeds swift upon night's lovers
Their sweetness, daybreak swallows not
Last kisses linger, liquid, long together...

The dawn speeds swift upon night's lovers
Dark nooks surprised by harsh sunlight

Premium Member Swift Passages

How swift the passage of time; stored up memories, disappear as sailing ships. Become as ghost ships; so short grows my time, as do fading memories. Can't recover lost memories; gone are those capsized ships; I find there is no time. Time’s so short and memories made dissipate, as ships lost in fog.

Premium Member Chimney Swift

My precious chimney swift
Envy alone
Has named you so mundane
Tethered to the slightest pause
Amid your life upon the wing
Describing you as drab
Cigar shaped
And flying like a bat
While within me
Your beauty burns
And I thank you so for that
For from my human complications
The conditions of my sin
You do so delightfully
Delightfully distract.

Swift Dorcas

Come with me to the
meadows and enjoy
the bucolic life
of the unruffled
landscapes, amidst the
low hills by the cosy pool,
where we will bask in
the summer sun.
We will have a summer
vacation date that will
leave indelible prints
in our transient memories,
after we must have
explored our different
worlds on the smooth
and lush quiet green
of sunny Spain.
