Jonathan Swift

Jonathan Swift's priorities could sell for a dime, for his greatest wish was to be big and small, all at the same time. NOTE: Jonathan Swift was the author of Gulliver's Travels.

A fitting Clerihew for JSwift. Gulliver's Travels was my first literature book at secondary school and I loved it, perhaps because I had a great English teacher who showed us what was 'behind' the story. // paul

It was one of the most bizarre books I've ever read... but it sure does stick in my memory! I'm amazed by how it was fairly easy to comprehend despite the fact it's almost three hundred years old.

I enjoyed the heck out of Gulliver's Travels. One of the most bizarre books on the planet, but it really took me places and made me think...
