into the sea....

Regret bleeds,

          Pride thins the blood ...

Don't drown for the sake of

          A simple, honest ...

     Apology....

My heart was skinned when you left.

And the sutures were just removed.

I have been to the doctor and the healing.

The scar is a reminder of the thrust....

Immolatio
Raw and uncut, the Poet
  sharpened his edge

His entry point targeted
  fury bright red

The first cut the deepest
  and clean to the bone

A wound bleeding freely
   —all sutures unknown

Poetry of the Spirituality of Life
Life,
surgical line that sutures
the wounds of life.
Sewing thread of
all lives...
Silver cord
that binds the bodies
and souls, with the same
perspective
that brought us
and load us to novel foreseen
whereabouts
in time to come.... !...

Future
Future,
Suture,
Sew it up, blow it up,
Doesn't matter, paint splatter
Can't inhale, only exhale.

Blow it up, doesn't matter
Paint splatter, on the past...
Wear it like a mask
Trip on debris
Fall into the sea of future(SPLASH!)
Wearing all my sutures......

Battered
Toils and brawls hit hard herebelow
Till poetry and its bliss are forgotten;
Till the joys of rhyme totter battered
By thrusts of a world foul and rotten.

But when the last of blows
The versifier's nose all wet
Has left in crimson sutures,
This quill shall scribble yet....

The sun has gone to sleep for a rest.
God watches over you tonight.
We all did our very best.
I pray for you...as I turn off my hospital light.

I am here to write poetry as best I can.
Despite leg sutures, and suffering.
I still pen, though like a slow fan.

Impaled Again
A sword slices through empty space,
the air bleeding as sutures trace

To pierce not once but pierce again,
your breath scarlet, its stain portends

A breeze sharpens—all time erupts,
seasons hemorrhage and flow corrupt

The wind incited—torn by pain,
truth the loser, impaled again

Scapular Burning
What are we but relics
of time gone by

Where painful encounters
stay undenied

The wounds may scar over
but never heal

As memory is martyred
its blood congealed

New skin tries to cover
what sutures can’t hide

Each moment recovered
a falsehood decried

With strength built on pillars
of fortunes disdain

From deep in the shadows
—our essence remains

(Dreamsleep: January, 2023)...

He was a raised hand,
Striking down his past.

Delivering sutures
To each of the futures
He touched.

Braying of donkeys
Echoing in his background.

A passing cloud,
Thundering loud

Smatterings of thought,
Like intermittent rain
On corrugated tin.

Ridges of grey matter
Rising, then falling

To the beat
Of felonious assault
,
Hard, soft meeting

Life, entering death
Arm in arm,

With rage....

Losing
Memories passing me.
Ghosts are haunting me.
Itching for a way out,
Thirsting in her drought.
Sutures with no amends,
Pretend, it's just in my head.

Sweet thoughts, calming.
Her words of velvet, embalming.
Here I am, trying to hate.
Whilst hanging with just a taste,
I'm losing touch with reality,
Losing touch with her,
Losing touch with myself
Trying to hate,
but only adoring.

She still lives in my ever-confused mind....

Mending Me
you found in me a
man that was broken
with soft gentle hands
threads from your heart
the pain was sewn away

with a passion tipped
needle of love
you weaved a pattern
of delight into the
cloth of my spirit

you closed the wounds
of a torn tapestry
stitching me to the
fibers of your dreams
creating a fabric of forever

sutures of love healing
mending me into a man
with fading scars
the strength of your seams
my embroidered soul...

Premium Member Life Didnt Come Without Nicks
Life Didn’t Exist Without Nicks Written: by Miracle Man 8/19/2017 Life’s been loaded with a myriad of glitches, I’m considering the use of the moniker scar. Twenty times in life I’ve experienced stitches, So I’ll never be mistaken for some film star. If fewer than three sutures they don’t count, Or the broken bones and assortment of flays. It began at fourteen and with age would mount, I’m just an old dog that had a few rough days.

The Surgery
The Surgery
The surgeon came in bright green garbs
A shinning steel blade in hand
Ready to glide it easily thru me
My body, my faithful companion
Ached and pained evermore
Under his able hands
My anatomy swayed and sang
Chirping like a dewy bird
On a branch in spring
Like a passenger on a long journey
His sutures brought a stop
Leaving me to cope with the pain
Of filing for medical insurance

Freedoms Love
Passions tenderness caught
within my broken shell.
Stones thrust upon sadness,
shallow images carved deep.

Crafted sutures embedded
ambrosias turmoil inside.
Calm effects paint aqua moments,
laughing honestly at brutality.

As softness surrounds hurt,
blazing me with loves flames.
Wreaking havoc on the darkness,
running out demonic flares.

Burdens lifted as air revives
in the light of my lost soul.
Bringing me into pure honor
of the almighty creator of life....

Premium Member A Prayer of Obedience
Teach each of us Lord, thy loving ways,
On our own we just complicate things.
We experience bitterness and malaise,
Cleanse us Lord from what today brings.

The surgery you do requires no sutures,
In changing hearts that are as stone.
Because you have insight into our futures,
When in the valley's we're never alone.

We oft dig our heels in questioning a thing,
As a reluctant doer we're not being smart.
From God, we know, our blessings spring,
A Christian should always follow his heart....

Beautiful Scars I Wear On My Soul
I wear BEAUTIFUL SCARS in my soul that can’t be e r a s e d.
              Wounds s t a r v i n g for SUTURES needing to be embraced-
I fear the serendipity of these scars have given illumination,
         as I seize the DARKNESS that e n v e l o p e s my given creation.

Surgery Fears
Feel a flutter deep within
do not think cupid will play
my heart is arythmic, blood is thin
heart condition here to stay.

Hope the surgery be survived
cannot do plans for the future
would wish and hope and stay alive
life ebbs-away through bad sutures.

Need good surgeons to do good job
this sex-change dear, will take some time
if they fail , I'm not worth five bob
told "don't worry" all will be fine.
