Mending Me

you found in me a
man that was broken
with soft gentle hands
threads from your heart
the pain was sewn away

with a passion tipped
needle of love
you weaved a pattern
of delight into the
cloth of my spirit

you closed the wounds
of a torn tapestry
stitching me to the
fibers of your dreams
creating a fabric of forever

sutures of love healing
mending me into a man
with fading scars
the strength of your seams
my embroidered soul
