Then Thanked My Lord
Then Thanked My Lord

I will find myself always looking forward,
Riding waves while on my surfboard;
Remember when;
Again and again;
For great performance thanked my Lord.

Surf Sound Around Made Heart Pound
Surf Sound Around Made Heart Pound

There is something about surf sound,
I do love to hear when it is around;
On surfboard ride,
And then has dried;
Breaking on shore makes heart pound.

Premium Member Thanks For the Date But
If I had a surfboard
I would whack you on the head.
I’d smack you and crack you until you are dead.
But since I don’t
I will say “Thank you for the hamburger.
Please do not ask me out for date number two.”...

What I Love About the Lord
What I Love About the Lord

What I will always love about the Lord,
Is when he gave me a great surfboard;
Quickly sped;
Had hit my head;
Riding waves with it do look forward.

Jim Horn

Dolphins At Play
The world looks so lovely
out here today
the sun's shining bright
and there's dolphins at play
they're racing the waves
at the bow of the ship
like teenage surfers
on a surfboard trip
they seem so happy
just a wave sets them free
what a wonderful way
for life to be...

More Magnificent Horn Haiku
loser business man
who came out of the closet
sure shows ugly face

what we do behoove
will always have tried to prove
faith mountains can move

with God will abide
even if low or high tide
with surfboard will glide

trump is conducive
always being abusive
also elusive

(small revision made line two to make all syllables equal for lines 1, 2 and 5)

A sweet homemaker named Shelly Gorde

with her laundry and cleaning was bored.

She imagined a beach

with a sea within reach.

Rode her ironing board like surfboard.

Valentine's Poem
Valentine poem of mine
Always dedicated to define
Love as the most delicate emotion
Enclosed in heart and devotion
Never stops and scares
Trust is what it cares
Inevitable is its existence
Not made for omittance.
Eternity of a true love
‘S floating above
Promised not to die
Often tested in bad tide
Encouraged to grow more
Marriage is a surfboard not the shore....

Premium Member Grandma Wears Thongs
February 14th.
Fifty three degrees.
What? Get out your bikini.
Kick off those shoes.
It is time to break out the Koolaid.
Plunk in the ice cubes.
Use Grandma's aluminum glasses
The ones from the 50's that keep things cold.
Where is my surfboard?
My swimsuit coverup?
My suntan lotion?
My thongs?
Grandma! Giggle. Giggle. "You WEAR thongs!"
Sure do, I say proudly, holding up my flip flops.
Confusing them every time....

I am training myself to surfboard Practicing on my ironing board For I'm no loser And the best mover Shall win a trophy surfer award. So I've ironed my best underwear My motto is to always prepare If I have a fall I will not bare all And my assets won't feel whiffs of air. +*+*

Farewell To the Pineapple Princess
As an original Mousketeer, you garnered some fame. A generation of youngsters knew you by name. From a little girl, you grew on television and the movies. Success seemed to come in blowing like the breeze. In a bikini with a surfboard on the beach, you were such an attractive brunette peach. Even though time caught up to you, and you passed away, we can still see you in reruns up to this day. Annette Funicello (1942-2013)
