The morning sunlight
And night's breeze
Hit me in the face
Like the way
Eileen hit me between
My bones
And my skin.
2 bubbles
rise, perfect rainbow
see-through globes
of sunlight
dancing on free air. Who cares
for washing dishes?
A thought arises
Sunlight heralds a new day
Both fade into dark
Inspired by Raul's Awaiting the Dawn contest
Short verse
Brother wind, sister rain,
Father thunder and mother sunlight
Meet every April
And a family feud breaks out.
Clear sunlight cool breeze
No fog, mist or cold wind
Cuckoos and magpies sing
Clear sunlight cool breeze
No fog, mist or cold wind
Cuckoos and magpies sing
Englishman Patrick Heron
with large scale artist did belong
Colours were such a delight
especially if seen in sunlight
The sun rises slowly here,
fingers of sunlight
lifting his body over the wall
of marshland to check
on his children.
The way a shadow stretches,
When sunlight shudders down,
Can make the horns of a devil
Look like the sporks of a crown.
when the sunlight disappeared,
all around, the black of night
tinged my heart and every mood.
then ~ I saw your smile...
lily-white sunlight
I've discovered my cool spot~
shadow of fine heart

Blade of grass
bent in half
by ball of slipping
sunlight drool
never to
recoil
genuflect immoral
internally immortal
No sunlight today
Naught but a cloud
No bliss this day
On this day of October
The day you were born
Oh, somber Tuesday
Dappling sunlight
wandering
patching
Blessed earth
courting
dancing
Summer leaf
capturing
mesmerising
Summer airs
Form:
Ice crystals plummet
Frozen earth covered in silk
Sunlight smiles weakly
Sasha Edl, An Haiku From Your Window
sunlight streams in,
revealing the beauty
of the cave,
through clear waters I surface
to breathe in a passing cloud
a flake of snow twirling in the sunlight
performs perfect pirouettes
upon a breath of air
Our men, frail from fruit, walk among hyacinth shadows
They crawl across marblewalk courtyards-
Mist in quivering sunlight
with curtains drawn i bathe in dawn's sunlight,
r e l i n q u i s h i n g yesterday
with an audible yawn.
The meadow lake glistening blue
The evening sunlight lilac beam
Blueberry sundaes a blue true
June desserts, we’re a team.
night snow
moccasin silent
drifts downward
landing without feet...
smiles in the sunlight
~ morning curtains peek
Darkness
bleak emptiness
blanketing the sunlight
suffocating the lively air
doomsday

Sunlight on the wall
slowly overcomes shadow
the sun rises

Anticyclones hold transient sway
mist forms ,at the close of day
in the Autumnal sunlight -
primary colours become gold
I float higher than the clouds.
Blinded by the pure sunlight.
I search for things that are not there.
A guidance from above.
