Truth eludes a man.
Searching eyes.
He finds deceit.
Sunglasses cover.
Rouge camouflages.
Daylight illuminates.
Poison asps.
Drip blood.

Summer
Hot, vibrant
Scorching, sweating, illuminating
Shorts, sunglasses, snowman, sweaters
Shivering, shoveling, darkening
Cold, white
Winter
I have sunglasses that let you see
Only the things that you want to see!
"You're mistaken," you say,
"They're just regular shades!"
And I say, "That's my point precisely!"
kissable lips
Audrey Hepburn worthy
Sunglasses remind me of Jackie Onassis
She lifts them
as I suspected, she is straight out of the sixties
chic and sophisticated in all ways
True love begins in a dark paradise
Filled with graffiti
And Diet Coke,
Wearing a Three Dimension sunglasses
Against the white screen
Swallow popcorn in a summertime
Stormy rain.
And the sky brightened and the moon sang songs.
The mood setting fraught with many more wrongs.
Anne wore dark sunglasses.
Music’s like molasses.
The full moon kept her up all night long.

bright pink fingernails
a straw hat low on her brow
cool in sunglasses
at summer's hot verge
beneath a green tree calm breeze
wild waves crash nearby
shadows of August
in the midst of reign of gold
mysterious girl
Golden shoulders
Green grass
Bright nails
Faded shirts
Big sunglasses
Little movement
Water fights
Washed cars
Busy schedules
Lazy afternoons
Floating rivers
Sinking sun
No sweatshirt
No inhabitions
I'll miss you, summer.

the dishonest mind,
like dark sunglasses,
even on a sunny day,
projects its own tint,
paints its own distrust
on everyone around,
seeing you and me
as mere creatures
of its own false image
and fake likeness
she wanted something that sunglasses couldn’t see
and the first taste I could give her
of what her eyes were looking for
was something like a silver jet flyin’
carryin’ blueberries
‘cross the sky
to her favorite rock star
A Springtime Weather Forecast
A springtime weather forecast.
Snowfall, blizzard, whiteout!
Snow drifting so deep,
Warrants snowshoes,
Sunglasses.
Don't go
Blind!

Summer girl has come
On the summer beach full fresh
Hot thru sunglasses
Coconut fluid
Wet The heart with juicy lips
Under the clouds boat
Far poetic words
Wove charming wave of poem
Pen soul implores love

A girl walks by with her
Sunglasses on no one knows
What’s really going on
To lift those glasses off her face
And see the burse he left on her that day
She walks by acting if nothing is wrong
Walking back home to a painful mistaken love.

Summer fun has begun at last.
Sun is shining every morning.
Shimmy into our swimsuits fast.
Seaside soon will begin swarming.
Slather up with loads of sunscreen.
Sunglasses protect from sea sheen.
Sunbathing is a real blast.

Sun baked earth, yet another summer
Preheated oven burns, my sticky hour.
Sunglasses hide me,"Did I really love her?"
Sweet lemonade,... tastes bitter and sour.

I knew a young lad from the village of Trent
He wore dark sunglasses wherever he went
Ladies couldn't see his blues,
So they focused on his fuse
'Til one day his vision was entirely spent.

Dark hooded eyes
Sunglasses hiding your stare
Piercing thru the dark
I try to catch my breath
My hand on your heart
Feels the steady beat
While my heart races
My legs grow weak
You overwhelm
I'm overcome
You captured my mind
I turn to run
My love, your eyes reflect the stars in radiant array;
those eyes that glimmer like the moon and make my night like day.
But when those eyes reflect the sun, it may be time you learned
to put on your sunglasses, dear, my headache has returned.

Hot, vibrant
Scorching, sweating, illuminating

You can see the love in his eyes
She's not a possession; she's a prize
And as for her,
She happily purrs,
Drunk on Love's fine wine

Palm trees cover the fence line
water, warm, kisses the air
the lawn chair so inviting
flip flops echo wild laughter
an old radio jamming
sunglasses hold the sunlight
a bag full of summer reads
aloe to cool down your heart
a beach towel of memories
the pool closed for the season
