Athletes
Athletes, negative comments is all you hear today.
The word is all they care about is the pay.
Role models, there seems to be voids.
Nothing but jocks with attitudes and on steroids...

Mushroom Clouds
Android
     fan boy
Humanoid
        fun toy
Funny alien noise
It's not like I have a choice
When I have to listen to the other voice
Drifting in the void of decomposing joy
Body building melodrama hooked on steroids
I'm a boy holding a button to
Weapons of mass destruction
And I want to see everything destroyed
Sit back and enjoy........

I’m not talkin’ ta churchy people
Those residin’ ‘neath a steeple
My message concerns you sinners
A usin’ steroids ta be winners
Those who on Sunday play football
Those who neglect ta hear tha ‘call’
“On the Seventh Day He Rested”
Know that those who do are Blessed
Besides church saves me countin’ sheep
Parson always puts ma butt ta sleep...

Streams of Conscience
Leaky Poets
dripping Prose
Words secreted
left unchose

Wanton memories
twisted lies
Moment’s bartered
naked I’s

Love on steroids
feelings burn
Swelling heartache
pages turn

New tomorrow
old reprise
Armageddon
death’s surprise

One more time
into the breach
Last wave ceding
from the beach

Leaky Poets
undisclosed
One word answer
—no one knows

Dare To Dream of Wind
He ran away to chase his dreams
Short of a miracle was it not?

Yet the winds of change roared strongly at night
Enter- the fierce winds of time
It will be you alone.

As you dance, I cry
Blow the flowers toward me
Free to drown me now.

Like a DJ on steroids,
I won't allow you to slice through my heart anymore,
My beautiful daughter, Windstream.

Building a Beautiful Body
I wanted a buff body, to look good in my "snuggs".
But ignored advice doled out by fitness droids.
Like: never use performance enhancing drugs
or be tempted to use Anabolic Steroids.

After 6 months, I just look like a thug wearing a rug…
…with a Nasty Squint and Diabolic Hemorrhoids

It Got Gritty
There's no armour for karma,
hurt her it harms ya,
playing between two
then karma gets you,
make a mug of a mate as well
all 3 see you fail.

so long mothermuffer farewell

fink i'm fic
yes you prick,
living on steroids
always annoyed
doing my head in
now you're inside
your life is destroyed,

but say thank you shall I
for the party supply
all 3 of us hate you
and hope you die,

so long mothermuffer goodbye...

Killed By Steroids
(This is a fictional poem)

Tragedy struck when my brother died last year.
His wife and kids still mourn and shed their tears.
It was so sad when my brother's life was destroyed.
He died because he took steroids.
We told him that steroids can be dangerous.
But he wanted big muscles so he never listened to us.
Without him in my life, life doesn't have as much luster as it did.
Now I spend my time trying to comfort his wife and kids....

Death Was a Nice Idea
Death was A Nice Idea,
So, Chief became “My Dear”:
Suicide for Breathless State
Straight to Satan’s Estate;
There to my case restate
Boss with Heat rewrite fate…

Death was the Fine Idea:
With Lifelessness no fear,
I wouldn’t for Nurse wait,
The Steroids hold as Great,
A Doctor like God rate
And start comparing Weight…

Death was the Crisp Idea:
Life has proved Another Spear:
Always Airways leave clean
To off hold Shaming Scene!...

Premium Member Missing You
Oh to have one's heart-string strummed by a
loving angel-like hand! Like lumps on a head
are those lumps on the heart, a read of life's
mixtures of orchids and desert sand. Oh to see
an angel-like smiling back...divine halogens on steroids!~
a lost vision to my ailing heart -- deeply regretting
our divorce...the absence of my home...with a pool...
a country-club setting, and that enviable Master's style
golf-course you so hated. Missing you....

Unique
The poet smoking grass
Or the athlete takin steroids,
'C..R..E..A..T..I..V..I..T..Y'
Or a world full of androids.
White canvas hung up there
Or is the artist taking the piss?
Just ask him the question
He'll say 'It's only what it is.'
The faces of the decent
Or extremists wanting more?
The clever sparkling woman
Or the dinner party bore.
The Muslim or the Catholic?
The Christian or the Jew?
The unique are all around us
Yet remain very few....

Premium Member Zippily
Listen to poem:
Zippily, zippity, I slip down
the slippery dip slide.
Zippity-doo-dah, slippily-dippity-do!
Suddenly and nippily, tipping
backwards to quicken the pace.
Snappily, I whippingly
swish right off the end of the slide.
I launch into space,
Fly high in the air, arms wildly flaying
like a rocket man on steroids, screaming.
I land with an awfully
painful jolt, snap and thump.
Woefully my aplomb undone,
not so spryly or lightly,
right on my backside....

High Maintenance Babe
Today
you look
like a peanut
assaulted
in a bad neighborhood...

Back in time
you dreamed to date
Brad Pitt
but he was taken
from Angelina Jolie
a true man eater
then you hooked-up
with a hairy biker
a body builder
who is about to explode
like a thanksgiving turkey
feed in steroids and cocaine
like a pig in an all you can eat
garbage joint
who goes crazy
and beats the crap out of you
at night
and early in the morning...

See
it's white snow
but dogs poop
on it......

Test of Man
What are we capable of, we have no knowledge.
Until pushed to the wall, pushed too thin.
Steroids of power rushing through;
Inside walls of firm unleased space.

Even for trust that seemed so strong,
Broken with one swift harsh push.
Not to be a judge of they that respond,
Until you have walked in those rough shoes.

One final test for all mankind,
To show that we are made to attack;
When crushed to an unending limit,
Where coming back takes all we've got....

Moondust
Violence lingers in your eyes.
No wonder you can't sleep,
Soundly through the night.
Not will all the waste still floating in the sky.

A deadly chemical, when ignited.
A Super Nova on steroids.
Explosive and temperamental.
Don't get too excited,
Or you'll turn into a deadly weapon.
Still fixated on the darkest of nights.
Forgetting is easier said than done.

There's a flicker of light behind your eyes.
Let it burn bright.
Don't hold back,
The passion that thrives....

Premium Member A Trip Better Skipped -- Aka: Docs These Days
His soft tissue, it ripped
All his discs, they had slipped
To the ER, the ambulance zipped
To right this poor fellow's ship

His wife's hand he gripped
   On the worrisome trip
His whole world had flipped
   His wings had been clipped...

The monitors blipped
   His confidence dipped
Liquid steroids he sipped
   Drip-drip, drip-drip

Here the doc snipped
   Over there did he clip
Then he grinned, and he quipped
   'You've no more spine
     ~ Just a postscript.'...
