My dreams I followed
Up imaginations' stairs
Reality dawned!

Up, down
Keeping my stairs
Please hide my sad eyes now
Take it like a man would take it
Only I can decipher the reasons
Soulmates MIA
life waylaid by confusion
we search a world of
topsy-turvy Escher halls
climbing flights of endless stairs
tired of his violent program
turns off, un-reclines, stands up
scent of perfume drifts down stairs
turns on love station
I finally let my breath out, relieved that the scythe had come and passed, only to turn away and fall down the flight of stairs.
Wake in the morning
running down the stairs to see
Heart sinks to the ground
father is not here today
my family is not complete
As he came down his stairs
Approaching me with my stares,
Into the glass reflection of myself,
In his face I see my "other" self.
Proudly I used to sell season's tickets for the Chicago Bears
~ These days salesmen sneak down the back stairs
When Granny Gooch comes to visit
We make her sleep on the front porch stairs.
Good thing Granny Gooch
Isn't afraid of grizzly bears!
Squeaky stairs,
She’s right there,
Unsure,
Wanting to keep her happy,
But wanting to stay awake,
Unsure,
Partly tires.
Wondering.
englands ghost story
brown lady of raynham hall
gliding down the stairs
appearing nightly
dressed in a bridal veil
jilted at alter
IN MY OWN BACKYARD
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
climbing stairs or books
I travel from world to world
in my own backyard
Elevator, escalator, or stairs
Gramma couldn't decide
Gramps said, Hop on my back
Pretty ladies ought to take fliers
Stairs are like classes
preliminary to top
who reaches obtains
Spiral stairs into the sky
Reaching into the heavens
Keeping measure with each step
A sight to behold
Russell Sivey
A mirror hanging on a wall
May be bewitching to us all
At the foot of the stairs
Best arrange your affairs
As Pride goeth before a fall!
thinking with body
exercising the mind's eye
watching not to trip
what floor are we on
is the door going to open
someone has B.O.
shadow
shimmies up stairs
catches my eye
and ceasing its pursuit
stops so I can snap its soul
coiled and still
Fabulous friction,
Your magic transforms
The steep rock into footholds.
In delicate balance
We dance on invisible
Stairs to the summit.
my eyebrow flew off yesterday and i yelled so loud that my water glass broke. then joe poopenheimer, my brother, fell down the stairs and died.
Down the stairs
Swirling in air
when my hair stuck
off stairs I rolled.
My girlfriend decides what to wear
The dress she wore had a tear
She ran up the stairs
To change into something ordinaire
For the country fair
As I sat
On my
Front stairs
Waiting
On and on
They came
Cruiser after
Guess I’m
Going back
To the pen
To see
My friends
Blank lines
The palate stairs
Back at me
Grunting as I fill it up
Like an old staircase
It groans under the weight
Of the human in the words
