The Attic
The attic
Was covered
In dream catchers,
Spiderwebs,
And dust....

Don’t set a fire within me
unless you are willing to stay;
Passion burns and spiderwebs;
and will eventually shatter

Random Animal Haikus
a small green gecko
smiling in the palapa
watching everything

arachnids calmly
weave intricate spiderwebs
waiting in shadows

a striped iguana
sunbathing on the smooth rocks
watching the ocean

hermit crabs scuttle
on wet sand, going nowhere,
only moving on

Spiderwebs
I'm sick of being entagled in your spiderwebs.
you inject me with poison over and over again.
But not anymore.

Now,
I have my own kingdom,
My own spiderweb.
Now I'm no longer just a fly.

Now I'll spin my spiderwebs around you.

Because now,

I stand for myself....

Pleading
Mooneater, I am my poem:
fantasy of words
traveling through fog.

When light sneaks in,
would you like to weep
with me ?

Dear death,
I am not ready to
close my chapter.

You are you
but I am not me –
taking a flight in dark.

Disintegrating,
I am collecting the spiderwebs
to catch the moon.

How Much Do I Love You
HOW MUCH DO I LOVE YOU

How much do I love you
Life but non-existing
Before the perfect situation
My ardent love broke glass
Ending a day
Noisome darkness creeps in
We sat looking face to face .
we strolled together in tenderness
Breaking huddled spiderwebs
We were whispering
'How much do Ilove you '
Repeat 'How much............

Halloween Night
Halloween night

Ringing of the door bell,
Banging on the gate.
Impatient children,
Please stop and wait.

Lollies without a performance,
Parents who don’t seem to care.
Where is the trick in treating?
Please take one and remember to share.

Skeletons and Tombstone plaques,
Spiderwebs galore.
Pumpkin lanterns, ghosts and ghouls.
Sorry but The party is next door....

Premium Member Butterflies of Snow: Hexsonnetta
Lightly flutter snowflakes
as on the breeze they go,
these butterflies of snow.
Spiderwebs the frost makes
when the pewter day breaks
to snare them as they blow.

This window the webs ring
the porthole in the frost
on which the flecks are tossed
is tatted like the wings
of earwigs in the spring.
The glass becomes embossed

with ornaments of ice
and blooms of edelweiss....

She died of an overdose
Heroin, like spiderwebs
Separating millions of core-nerves

From reality-living neutral
Until coals revive blanc

Sorrows, child left behind
Awaiting distress

I found her flower etched
Jeans, in my office

I threw them into the trash
Her beauty crushed

What could have become?

What could have

                                     Become?

My Once Was
You have been my enjambment,
The who i used to call tangent.
Your looks connived,
And i was conviced .
Yet you left without a notice .

I saw your messages
Tons like spiderwebs ,
They struck my heart ,
A jibed such scars .

Dear my once was my happiness
And so you know ,you gave lessons
For i am not a fool ,
For i was never a tool ,
Those heartbreaks and headboards ,
Will one day make me a perfect lover ....

Premium Member Forsaken Spiderwebs
Our home was lit with autumn's spicy scent.
Now spent are the forms that had something to hold:
votive molds, photo frames, vases.... forsaken.

The form within my breast, too, is forsaken,
no longer pressed against your Old Spice scent.
Once, we had each other to hold....

Now memories are the substance we hold.
Your sloughed skin dust is not yet forsaken;
a whiff remains of seasonal clove scent....

Forsaken spiderwebs hold your signature scent.
