Halloween Night

Halloween night

Ringing of the door bell,
Banging on the gate.
Impatient children,
Please stop and wait.

Lollies without a performance,
Parents who don’t seem to care.
Where is the trick in treating?
Please take one and remember to share.

Skeletons and Tombstone plaques,
Spiderwebs galore.
Pumpkin lanterns, ghosts and ghouls.
Sorry but The party is next door.

Cute ending, Mockingbird, and I think you covered many of the sights and sounds associated with Halloween. Best wishes for success in the contest. Carolyn
