Finally music
Magically settles nerves.
Sounds all the slower.
Feelings slowly overtake
My innermost mind's own core.
slow, slow and slower yet still
let the cup of God’s bliss fill
till the time we disappear
whence light of Self does appear
slow, slower and slower we be
gentle, gentler and gentler yet
lest scars of unvoiced anguish
create ripples in the vast void
soft, softer and softer yet still
slow, slower, surrendering will
energies kinetic and potential
illuminate soul self-referential
Tend those sad blue eyes
To cry drops but of honey
Tears flow much slower
Down her soft caramel neck
Queen bees silently agree
In one labor of Star-nosed Moles
Traveled a slower toothless cow
The last in line, all that she sees
Is sore gums and molasses now!
The upper crust
folks do not trust
they bite into the lower
Beer and pretzels just five bucks
chew on life much slower
I am suddenly walking so much slower.
Drowning in my deepening sadness,
As the autumn leaves shower
Unto me as I feel life is meaningless.
Moving at the pace of a turtle
pick up the pace there is no hurdle!
Kindly move over
can't go any slower;
If I hop past you don't startle.
Speed
Is a foreign concept
In the cool mountain air
As patience and observance
Take their rightful place
In the slower pace of
Enjoyment
Simply enjoying
A slower pace
Taking time
Until my tea is gone
Resting and being
Dramatically quiet
Adjusting intensity
Yearning for rest
going
slower
then slow
i cross bred
a snail with
a sloth and
so
taking two
to make one
the
sum total
outcome
is
rush
hour
Form:
An epiphany...
Want to thrive past one hundred?
Please ponder my point:
Cultivate boredom
thus making time pass slower
Old man? I THINK NOT...
Passion's pulse now beats slower
Expectations sink ever-lower
Bees and butterflies back underground
Summer's song silenced, snowfalls surround
Spewell Bluff a lovely place
Fishing, swimming, slower pace
River's bend with a mile view
A fun place for me and you
Georgia State Parks you come too
she moves slower but not her smile
her heart speaks in rhythmic sage
her umbrella is her hands of praise
accepting a bouquet of flowery rain

Fleeting Moments
Each
tick
of a
moment is
lost forever to
us as the years swiftly pass by–
moments that seemed slower in childhood than they do now.
Observation>Instinct
But is slower than the other
It's a weakness and a power
A life of dreaming
Instead of scheming
In my mind
My thoughts: much too aligned
Form:
Take a step back to a simpler place,
Where the world revolved at a slower pace.
Think about Andy, Opie, Barney and Aunt Bee,
Enjoying life in the small town of Mayberry.
Autumn is a season of harvest.
Of endings and reflections on the past.
A winding down time,
When days are a little slower,
And we realize in life,
Nothing will last.
slow, slower and slower yet still we be
a butterfly floating in the air carefree
the ripples that arise
we behold in surprise
embracing and releasing on a bended knee
In this age of “anything goes”
Decency is not a priority as we know
Preferred the old rules
Call me an old fool
Twas a different era things were slower
Lateness slows me down
I physically go slower
But i love ipmerfections.
Go up to someone today and repeat Can i ask you a question?
Then walk away with a hidden smile.
NOW HW REMEMBERS HIS PLAN UNFOLDING WITH GRACE
SLOWER AND SLOWER ITS HAPPENING AND HE CAN SEE IT UNFOLD
NO MISTAKES ALL RIGHT AND CORRECT
NO NEED FOR RHYME CAUSE IT STILL MAKES SENSE
Darkness dares us to dance to a different beat
Some faster, some slower, just watch their feet
One thing for certain, the dancing will end
Last dance, lights out, it's daylight again
