towards marked enclaves a midnight sky
skywards and onwards the stars and moon await...

I do not know?
Flight
Skywards of now
Vultures on gilded wings
hovering, striking
secrets of the carrion evade
Are you just tete to tete
now the lines are drawn
Large sephents over reach
to a Gypsy flute...

Ode To the Seafarer's Wife
My heart shall travel far
End to end where rainbows meet
Skywards the North Star
Beckoning the waves to glide
Quickly to come home
To thy warm, sweet embrace
And your bright summer kisses...

The Last Goodbye
Come, my weary soul, come,
It is time for you skywards to fly
The heavens, as soon as possible, to reach
Come, let's say our last goodbye!

The High Cost of Love
Call me cynical
Has anyone else noticed …….
All of a sudden
The price of flowers and chocolates
Rockets skywards high towards heaven
Oh silly me its nearly Valentines Day!

Skywards
A broken egg on the pavement
Speckled shell on a speckled path
And the blue inside
A light sky blue tint
A sky waiting to be filled by the bird
The skeleton mingling with the dust and grease and concrete dust
Instead of flying....

Praising the Lord V
When those abominable moments in our lives come
And with indignation our voices to heavens raise
We must think of the instances happiness our was
But failed the eyes skywards to turn, our Lord to praise!

Dandelion little bud
Dandelion little bud soon will have a golden crown,
taller this is bound to grow
upwards, skywards to our sun,
now ripened with blossom wide, unconcealed, too bold to hide,
until the time is right to leave...
though death is a mere bluff,
evolving to a special stage transforming to fine fluff!...

Look Closely
Magic scenes
drift blissfully
across
my gleaming eyes
that capture lush green
images
or peer
with deeper
focus
at heaven’s
golden rungs
ascending skywards
as a blue enchantment
lures
perceptive life lights

Be Thankful Too
When those abominable moments in our lives arrive, my loving friend
And with indignation our voices to heavens, in protest, we wish to raise
Have to remember, the instances when happiness our companion was
But we failed skywards, our eyes to turn to, for our dear Lord to praise!

Failing To Praise the Lord Ii
When those abominable moments in our lives come, my beloved brothers,
And with indignation our voice to heaven, in protest, we feel to raise
We have to remember the instances of happiness our companions were
That we did fail, miserably, skywards our eyes to turn to, our Lord to praise!

Hello
dazzling beautiful
as i smiled
the whole way
through a dream
lifting the curtain
painting fairytales
you sure can
pipe enchanting
sweet talk
you play
in such beauty
magically cast
lifting skywards
in the song
playing one tune
sings sweetly
floating emotions
sky clouds
touching cotton
embraced emotion
hello what inspires
such amazing
beautiful words
is a dream...

Crossing the Desert
The road through wilderness snaked
The ocean of sand its bosom bared
Thorny plants skywards stared
Mirages stood, in falsehood draped
The rain too made a hasty retreat
No sound to break the eerie conceit
The nocturnal beings too walked in stealth
The dunes too, unsure souls, mislead
The lonely traveler felt a void in his chest
Where the heart had once snugly dwelt...

Smokescreen
A thin wisp
Like fingers entwining
Opening like a budding flower
Skywards
Taking a path, a grey meander
Spooling and curling
Relying on a gentle breeze
For safe passage
The momentary heat on wood
Sublimating to perfumed wonder
Entering my body to
Ensnare the soul
The scent which evokes
For each a different memory,
A feeling; but to all…
Solace, fortitude, release...

Sparkling Diamonds
awake am I at three am as dark sky closes in
not a sound as I look skywards
I then espy the brightest light when
sparkling diamonds rain on me
'tis Venus sprinkling her gems of love
the brightest jewel in the darkest sky

Incense whispers drift skywards
Echos amid the memory boxes.
Prising lids off revealing recollection relics -
Fragments labeled and categorised.
I run my hand over each:
Exploring the worn grooves of emotion -
Branded into being human by perspective!
Examining each piece I question it's reality...
Is it time to redefine? rediscover? to re-remember?
The pathway forward is revealed by
Incense whispers drifting skywards...

Autopsy of a Glass Girl
Staining the floor with her shards
and slicing the hands of the coroner
the broken doll rests in pieces.
Her etched face glances skywards
her beaded eyes trapped staring into the sun.
“Pushed too far,” the coroner says.
Porcelain women weep at the side of the autopsy table.
“Bury the fragments,” the coroner says, the coroner says.
His words move on
but the mourners never will.
He moves on to the next case
but the mourners never will.
He moves on.
But the mourners never will....

Awakened
My special other,
She sits beside me in the twilight’s embrace,
We watch the sun take a sink in its somber mood,
The ocean view,
A delight to our sight,
The running waters,
A rhythm to our ears,
When feet kiss water,
A relaxing and unruffled flow permeates,
The world’s weight plummets,
Where sky becomes ocean,
Our dreams come out of their hiding,
They take flight skywards,
They soar unbounded.
