Gone Sailing
If tomorrow I am no more,
it will have been a

One Musa, One Poet
two twin
beds mean
two singles

my signals
got crossed
i thought

a double
was two
not one

bed so
instead
we asked

for two
sheets
and two

blankets...

Singles
one single rose
left on my door step
one single step
led u to me
one single kiss
felt on the nape of my neck
one single tear fell to the floor
a tear of joy
its our love and nobody's business...

Lean On Me
I am all tuned up...
...rest upon my shoulders.

A sweet melody presents a lyric...
...an electric duet is stronger.

Singles never come easy...
...I'd rather arrange chords in your key.

Lean on Me.

Lonely Heart
her heart hankering for love
one errant tear drop glistens
a beckoning badge of innocence
to the hungry scourge that waits
her crimson smile quickly devoured
as her rare innocence drowns
in the raging murky waters
of the singles bar scene...

We pennies are coppers
    Quarters, two bits

We dollars are bucks or singles
    Five dollars, five-spots or fins

  Tens are (or were) sawbucks
    Twenties, doubly so

  We hundreds are C-spots or 'G's ~
Who says we're 'all about the Benjamins'...

Lady
She sits amidst crowd
but her reflection singles her out
she stands and eyes dances
the sways of her hips,a song on every lips

Files falling from hands
heads colliding with chest
it is the power of her presence.
the colour of her skin
is like a shinning bronze....

I'M Not Just a Girl
the term China girl

reduces me
to nobody
defines me
by my skin color
singles me out
as a misfit

it strips me
of all that I am--
poet
college graduate
the “it” girl
the beauty and brains

which matters not
to you--
in your world
I’m only a girl
with no worth attached...

ANGELS CHAINED to FICTION SUNSET
happiness ON HOLD
SAY SOMETHING LOVING

SWEPT AWAY by the TIDES

Silver Drip
Shadowy silver curls of sweat
Beads of pearls along the way
Coats of pink nail polish
With sparkling silver overlay
Easy streets yet broken beats
Of concrete noise in an urban throng
Of despair and hollow noise
Dogs and cats eat the wooden bark
Of coquettish thriving meows
Silver singles, oh yes, us oldies do mingle...

Mad
Mad at the school
mad at the teacher
she singles us out like we are cheaters
we play by her rules play by the game
yet she says we're still doing the same
she yelled at us once so we changed
she yelled at us again for the same exact thing
yells at us three time and dictates our move
how is that fair we played by the rules...

Millions
Millions of singles waiting to date,
Searching online for their soulmate.
They’re cute and smiling...
They are in a box,
Some look quite normal,
Some cream of the crops.
All different colours;
Such variety,
That one looks handsome and
He’s looking at me.
Wow that one is hot and
You can see him on cam
Back in my inbox and
outta the spam....

Baseball Is Not Just For Boys
From this summertime game, girls derive joys. Who said baseball should only be played by boys? Girls can catch fly balls, field grounders, and render a mighty swing. In comparison to boys, girls can do anything. They can hit singles, doubles, triples, and a home run. Girls play all nine innings until the game is won. inspired by another member's poem

Evil Woman
she curses him
with
insults and curses
she speaks ill of him
and makes him target
in her verses
she screams to curse
and speaks to unravel
and her mind is sultled with shame
she wishes to undermind
and singles out parts
to cause him guilt and shame
make those who hinder more attractive
than we can have un tunting to tease
than like an animal
we'll stalk our prey
and bring him down to his knee's!...

Weather For Tea
The weather is getting colder,
it's tea and sweater season.
I'm getting better and bolder,
I have learnt some real lessons:
The opposite of coldness is boldness,
singles' control of inner chemistry.
Sex is not just a source of sweetness...
it can turn a hero to a living history.
Couples can consume holy communion,
a bed undefiled harbours honour.
Singles should avoid defiling dominion...
Use tea and blanket as your armour....

Moonlight Come Dance With Me
There's no polyester in the trees
Nothing but mucous membrane
What's writing what's wrong
Pattern of the ole coal miners
Roughing it eating leftovers in diners
A brute abusive husband placed in marmalade
This is how bad men behave
Sun bright burning the heavens
Loaf of bread singles only seven
Nothing left on my dinner plate

Premium Member I've Just Finished Recording An Album of Post-Prison Singles
these songs are about wizards (mostly)
the untroubled child sleeping peacefully

and when the new washing machine
arrives at the same time as the food delivery

you do wonder if the men at the door
exchanged pleasantries

did they make eye contact
did they ring the door separately or

one honk of it was agreed
non-verbally, or verbally

or with a wink, fist bump
or a hand sandwich

drive over a cliff listening to these songs
you won't feel a thing...

Billions Over Me
Too many billion people.
Still you don't have a couple.
No one notices you.
You still don't have a clue.

Too many billion singles.
Still you don't know how to mingle.
No one accepts you.
You still have to continue.

Too many billion chances.
Still you don't have partner to any dances.
No one cares for you.
Still you have to be true.

Too many billion men.
Still you're not taken.
No one but me, who loves you.
You are still free on what you want to do....
