breaks the silent
November night-
the Hunters moon
waxes blue
little girl all alone
like a dog without a bone.

I'm big and bold and mostly blue
I can be heard from a mile or two.
I'll screech and yell and tell the tale
If you leave peanuts on the rail.
The boy wouldn't say his speech
Just the thought of it made him screech

How Many Syllables
There is a fast voice
echoing like a screech
alarming
that nothing now night
or a beast could hunt
now turn
or reverse the bear
since we are some fair
ones free.
For the Idol I sang
with a screech and a twang
caused by a cold in my throat
well I passed the audition
but I cured the condition
now they tell me I can't sing a note!
