Jay

I'm big and bold and mostly blue
I can be heard from a mile or two.
I'll screech and yell and tell the tale
If you leave peanuts on the rail.

They used to peck at the strawberries in my late mother's garden before we ever got a chance to pick them. Since they are often a nuisance, it is the most likely reason the Toronto baseball team chose to name themselves after these birds. Good write.

Hello Virginia, where do you live? There are squirrels here to. Drives my sister's dog crazy. Sometimes she chases the squirrels. Yes bird watching would keep the cat busy. Hugs Darlene
