The sands of time
Sand castles
Sand is the word
Inexplicable
To seemingly mold
Itself into time
We are Sand...
Thru the hourglass
time ticks by
As the sand falls
thru the hands of time.

Blazing sun and burning sands,
laughing squeals of delight.
Glistening waters, crashing waves,
Beautiful partner, what a sight.
the sands,
Depending on which you meet
Depending on how long you've been endure
remain as sand,
to become a pearl
It varies.
My feelings are a house of cards,
My will is the glue,
Without the will of wisdom,
They would be toppled by you.
Where, pray tell .. is my wisdom?
sands in my hand
trickle as I close
my palm to grip them
I whisper your name
as my teardrops
flow with the sands

verdant horizon
stretching turquoise flowing thralls
sands of time accept
proud in stand in pose we do
Palawan attracted love
x.x
you let love slip through your fingers
where you once held the key
now you're haunted with regret
and have nowhere else to flee

Hourglass upended
Yet again, sand trickles through
From top to bottom
Subtle way to remind us
Cusp of eternity waits.

Time is definitely of the essence
Floating on down like a fine tune caress
The effervescence of leaves calling sounds
Like grains of white sands of diamonds.

After the oceans salty sands
I dive into the deep blue
T shirt, and let it flow over me
Jump into my shorts
Wade into my shoes
and leave the shore
For dry land

We are reasoning the limitations of women,in Islam, but we are giving non-religious freedom to women in our own land, what we do,is not defending Islam; It is just plowing the sands.
I know a poet named Heidi Sands
Who, when she waves her magical nature wands
Her skies are a pastel of the clearest blue
That smile down from heaven's canvas, for me and you
Treasuring every moment left
waking hours become minutes
become seconds, sands of time
sifting through our fingers and
the very sinews of our beings
Silent Shore Hiku 30
sand whispers softly,
waves gently kiss the shore~
nature`s sweet embrace.
Listen to poem:
Shifting standards in drifting sands,
where forgiveness is a sundae treat,
spins the wheel of fortune
to shuffle-card mode.
Where truth is discounted,
by dealing cards face-up,
and uncounted.

s. a. n. d. s of time drip on

Hands twirled
The magical wand
Feet skimmed
Over the golden sands
A celestial sojourn
My butterfly was born
Draped in colours
She cushioned my feet
So long
I'm homeward bound-

Stones and Sands
Sanity on the rise
Path in waves
Foot steps onto hill
Freedom at will
Drums in heart
Pounding ill
When thee don't take to heel
On these sands and stones
Thy life shall'nt be lived
I just a lone lonely grain of sand;
Strained on this barren island;
Oh! So covered in rocks;
From the bottom of my feet to my neck…

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2021©
As the stars in the sky
Come out to play
And the moon
Shines down on us
This tropical shore
We visit once more
To stroll hand in hand
On its golden sands
Where we first made
Our wedding plans
So many years ago
On the wings of a seagull the sun slowly sets
Time flows through the dying light
Like the seconds the hourglass begets
Each grain of sand in time will write
The days and years of humanity's plight

Listen to poem:
fog and rain at the beach
until the sunshine returns
sand crystals soak up
each ray and twinkle
and soon the breeze
renders its warm caress
sands shift almost giddy
without a care in the world

Basking On White Sands
white sandy beach opened her arms to me
I ran to her shores lapping the blue seas
sun, water and wind blend
her triple treats a godsend
sets of big waves came, and white sands glee

The sands of time trickle down,
Measuring the days of man,
Who now has lost his spiritual crown
And has abandoned salvation's plan.
