This Is Normal
I awaken with inordinate maturate on my face. Stripping my skin away disinters a face made of red clay I then claw and strip it away to show the face of a roseate mask and once unmasked revealed the black star....

Ourselves As Overlord-Kings
It must have dazzled Free Will
To be jousting with Fate.
Clanks there no discordant
But armour intimate.

Dark, or roseate-crested, one of
Either the former's knights.
Sent out its castle wall, beyond
For the latter's world-fights....

This Day
Not yet,
moon. I have torched
the house
to watch the flames.

*

Suddenly,
the eyes fish out
a wild saga of
a failing light –

on the roseate
lips. I was always
fond of lion’s tooth
and milky stems.

Desire Obtain Preparedness
EVEN swaying mountains are smoother hungry clouds

And your ticklish roseate lips like match-lit dewdrops

are not a memory but realized onward and carried

within an old man’s satchel; depressed lines as thick

as unfeeling skin; a path to have traveled until the ending

unlike the empty nest that’s screaming.

Roseate Dew
Old-fashioned beauty kissed by morning dew,
In summer-rain her dreams reflect the sun,
And poets ponder magic she can do,
As worldly things the mind must surely shun,
Her thorns shall fight the heart that isn’t true,
Yet bring her tender kiss to love begun,
To poets gazing on her blooming blush,
She sings harmony in a whispered hush.

Wanderer, Worshipper, Lover
I am the wanderer
the worshipper,
the lover,
a thistle bedizened
roseate deluge
gliding across the oasis,
each of my petals
secreting scents of
scarlet seduction

I am the wanderer
the worshipper,
the lover,
my hymns
brim with luminance
well before the
golden orb ascends to
crown the Syriac date palms
and cast its gaze upon
the apple of my
jet black eyes...

Painting By Numbers
A shade of clear caresses red
dabbed upon each aching edge
a sweetened birch lies ever near
await mere embers to appear

In holy rest her amber hue
a roseate glow paints such a view
gentle strokes do pass and glide
pure color beats and breathes inside

With light and shade a vision lives
in moves and shapes a feeling gives
a pensive air floats through each brush
as passion seeks her loving touch...

Radiant Beauty
Radiant beauty abound

Nourishment takes, golden roseate,
Tenuring flower, non-daub
Graceful anima, display

The’ streaming into our souls,
Mise eternal, nod love
Never accord that we will
Birr mioty, universal a qualm

Sprig Eres an arrow that day
Cheshire I vidi, anearing eyes
Grin giving, es raining a pasted
Moppet of peri, pecked me a sass
I will always cherish the’ day....

Ode To Heavenly Hues
The canvas upon Which Sunsets are drawn The palette that proffers The hues… The stroke of the brush ‘Pon the edge of the earth The purples, the crimsons The blues.. The portrait that’s painted Each day at dusk At times displays the husk Of a day… Vibrant and roseate Once so bright and sunny As if God and Angels Have conspired to create A hue hallowed and new The colour of blood …mixed with honey…

Rosettas
Nothing is left of love
but soft slopes of sand –-
sea shard curves
of ancient offered flesh..

We hold life’s
brief possessions
in brindled hands—
cheeks ripe roseate
above painted
porcelain lips.

Faded farm women
gaze on roseolas of prairie—
sepia skims
of faith’s watermarks
held up to light
and frenzied time
amid salmon stains—
papered moth wing eyelids
flickering madly
under thin Rosetta stones
of sun....

Blood Moon
Beautiful,
The roseate glow
Of the lunar moon
The light it shed
Touches the earth
O! a coruscating brilliance
A touch of red,
It could mean love
Love?
Perhaps the moon
Has been speared,
Ran through with cold steel
Shedding scalding tears
In gory pool
Sun,
stars
And other heavenly bodies
Have you done this?
Have you killed our moon?
Why does she glow in gore?
Will she breathe again?
Will she glow
To lit our inky night again?...

Slipping Upon a Crescent Moon
C antankerous and chimerical - comingle with my childlike charms.
A morous and antagonistic - angel wings melt within my arms.
N urturing and nostalgic - as I cradle one's frangible needs.
C aress my curvaceous chasms - when shared confusion slowly bleeds.
E ver evasive, always enticing - my heart may tease you; yet not tempt.
R eminiscent and roseate - dancing with dreams not yet dreamt.
