Getting Old
I'm getting old,
I have a suspicion.
How do I know?
Corrugated skin

If multi colored

Sometimes things go your way like a snap,
In life’s bumpy non-existent road map.

Road Map
If you feel like a crack or a gap

You are no where near done

That's not a wrap

You depressed old sap

But light making its way in

Call it your new road map...

Poetry
Poetry, no road map, just a destination
a pen a and a paper which can not exist alone
Poetry, a place without address or driving directions
a simple way to make your heart find home!...

Premium Member But Do They Know Him
But Do They Know HIM? Miracle Man 7/19/2022 Some people live life, with confidence and boldness. Others are plagued, with doubts and fear. Knowing who Jesus is, but toward Him is a coldness. To the road map He’s given us, we must strive to adhere.

Dead End I followed the road map I found inside of my broken heart and drove to the edge of yesterday Got out of my car and looked over the side There at the bottom of this very deep ravine I could see today, so I jumped… there will be no tomorrow

Parsing
Read it,
or do not read
the road map.
Something has eaten into your wings.
You will not be able to fly
in the silent valley.

*

The clay gardens.
You always loved, the eccentricity.
A meltdown
refrains the sequenced
shyness. There will be
no moon tonight.

Road Map
I don't need a map to show me the road
In my book there's only one way to go
The right way is what I chose
I shall continue to grow
Despite the stones that are thrown
I do have Sis's and Bro's
All across the globe in America and beyond
Some of their faces I'll never know

Until I get where I'm go

A Detoured Life
Jesus Directions
Detour
Corrections
Go around
Not this road
Yield, Halt,
Stop ahead
Light is red
Misleading
Jesus's plans
Created another map
Not this valley, nor tunnel
The best is yet to come
Jesus has already won.

What Jesus has for you is much better than your own will, and plans.
Jesus's road map guides....

Because In My Mind You'Re a Sunday Drive
Let me be consumed by you
Your song, your soul, your body of work that reads like a road map towards some vague destination
A place in my heart now void of its contempt
This is a long drive for someone who couldn't read traffic signs , smooth sailing under yellow lights into a  city of your grand design
I'm on my way giggling like a lovesick schoolgirl...

Devil's Driving
I may be useless to society.
But in my heart, I know I'm trying.
Life is hard when you've lost control.
The devil is driving me, off familiar roads.
I asked where he was taken me.
He said don't worry, you gave me the keys.
You handed me the road map, to your own hell, just like that.
It's not smart to attempt, putting out a fire.
Without knowing what started it to spark....

The Bible
A description of the Bible, the inspired
Word of God. It heals the broken hearted
And set the captives free. It makes the lame
To walk again, and cause the blind to see

The Bible is my road map still relevant today,
With up-to-date messages in a practical way.
Don’t need to bash you on the head and force
You to believe, search it through and see how it
Applies to you....

A Road Map Written: by Miracle Man 2-11-2019 Don't verbally degrade or use falsehood, And let negative thoughts remain unsaid. Utter no vow that you can't make good, And remember the blood that Jesus shed. Jesus left mankind with this mandate, Not to slander or succumb to libel. But strive each day, HIM, to emulate, By letting life's road map be the bible.

Premium Member Weakness'
I told the Lord, my weaknesses were too m any. Again I added, my strengths were too few. But this, to Him, was no great revelation. For I'd merely told Him something that He foreknew. The Lord, told me, to search the scriptures daily. That for my life, a road map they would be. Within my heart, He saw not my weakness. Then through my faith in Him, He qualified me.

Another Trump Trap Horn Haiku
See my golf road map
Have horrible handicap
Fell into Trump's trap.

Was 138 feet to reach hole
And contest was for hole in
one for 150 feet or more.
What will Trump think up
next. Real challenge to
listen to TV news and come
up with a poem about it. I
am sure he was heartbroken
and used that for a category.

Dusting Off the Namesake
The game
Squashed his frame
Socks tainted
Carved out plain
But the road map was tame

Animals replete
With zoo keeper seed
From marsupial greed
A black out rabbit hole
Concealed the frrozen deals
Pincers chopping dollar backs
Red with collar grabs

Soapy suds and beer
The watery love endeared
To carry a child burden
For the sake of namesake
Dust off the the boot heel kickers
And fly kites with cotton pickers...

Have You Received Your Road Map Today
There are many road maps
As they are called these days
Today everyone has a road map
Under their dream pillow
It makes you sleep more relaxed
And you always wake up refreshed
Give peace a chance
Only violent people need a rest
Killing was always a reasonable option
Who washed the blood
Off the fields?
And collected roses from dead hands?
May be I was one of them
And died of poison oak
Prematurely...

The Web
The World Wide Web,
Is a daunting thing.
It connects us with others,
We've never seen.

We navigate with caution,
Not knowing what lurks.
A valuable road map,
In spite of its' quirks.

With due diligence we filter,
The lies from the truth.
Always accepting its' flaws,
Because of its' youth.

Walter Scott said it best,
Though I doubt he did conceive,
His prophetic pen to paper,
In "What a tangled web we weave"....

Premium Member Dont Weep For Me
Don’t weep for me I am past,
I was once, now I am gone,
Life’s fleeting moments do not last,
Since the first cry when we are born!

Don’t forget lessons from your past,
it lays road map for us to move on,
Do stop to help those who are lost,
And create a world for all to live on!

Don’t look back to cry at your past,
If it makes you sad and forlorn,
Life’s flag need not fly half mast,
If you seek victory just march on!...
