Home
For the love of the sword
For the beauty of the regalia
For the pride of the crown
For the tower of the noble
The cage be broken open;
so the bird shall fly -- yet again
far up into the sky -- to the bliss named home
away from all shackles -- and memories of it!...

Lyric
Lie To Me
112
I’d rather
Let
Others
Lie to me
About how great
My poetry is
And to my fate
But I’m not sure
Why I can’t
Take it in
And make it mine
For in my mind
These poems
Just flow
Does it show
That I write so fast
Too fast
To make
A poem
Lasting
In its regalia
Windy day
And sail ya
Blowing so hard
Now in my
Mind
I
Fail...

Patois
THE power of my lost mind binds my tongue
between paper and pen obliquely bleeding
i leave it there.
esophageal --> the blue (my) heart
beneath sun setting pinks drowning squamously
and the gulls within their famous white regalia
0--oh!~ the magical patois across the
battered waves o'er the seas!

Ss Single and Searching
Deep into the sunflower,
Shirking away in facade.
Alas!
The It in the search for it,
But the constellations know better.
Soon draws in the daily winter;
When the flowers wilt and fall;
As it shivers off the travesties,
To settle up in serene,
Adorning its grey regalia,
Giving It the fickle find.
The moon plays hide and seek,
And the night is It....

Cinnamon
Flavours surprise:
Cinnamon spice
Plus all things nice
Taste fond delight:
This lovely flight
In poignant sight
Sweet morsel bits:
Mild bitter wit
In cake that fits
Feisty feast flies:
Chocolate highs
With ganache sighs
Macadamia:
Walnut sepia
Taste regalia!
Here in quick haste:
No time to waste
Embrace good taste

Nobility
Spirit aglow
A Jew is Nobility
A King in a Castle
From his merry beard
To each ritual tassel
In Sabbath regalia
Blessing sparkling wine
Of learned Discourse enamored,
In delicacies enshrined
His Wife by his side
Beaming Approbation
His Children tender shoots
Bright sprouts of Creation
No matter the locale
The era, the clime
The Jew is the Master
Of Sabbath's unfettered Time...

Winters Regalia - Ws
High winds come soaring
On a chariot of ice
Blowing alabaster hails
Sun beams thaw star threads
Bringing back hidden colours
To pour into springs chalice

Soul of Man
The soul of man has known too much ache.
the heavens spill salted mercy water,
but the regalia of misery shields his body
his glare too impaired to recognise release.
he frets in his hood,
he flees for shade,
scampers from fortune.
his err, his cross.
desires of a little ease,
that threatens tomorrow's lease
Nature's deceit,
A game oft played.
Yet he falls, he fails.
The soul of man,
how feeble, how weak....

The Studio At the Beach I
The Red Dress Regalia
Waning spirits sigh, the roaring ocean calls
Her playground, the coolest place ever
Dressed in flamboyant ruffled regalia
Fiery guitar scales in the background strum
Drumbeats from her hammering heals
Scuff marks adorn the wooden boards
that her father laid down for her floor...

The Lost Tooth
she is felt still
a tongue tip
recalls her grave
it speaks tenderly
i had her crowned
yet such a royal regalia
did not suit
her innate modesty
she was a tireless waitress
who served up
treats and sugars
with a candied Mona Lisa smile
a love lost is not rootless
yet it must speak from a hollow filling
the heart of which
turns upon cavities of regret
decades later
i eat
these empty words
yet still enjoy them

Progeny of Adam -2-
We sow discord,
Yet we're thirsty of peace.
We chant war,
Yet our ears call for euphonia.
Racism infests our world;
Tribalism invades like malaria.
Although we have diverse languages,
With love there is no barrier.
We attack the weak,
And leave them with dysthymia.
We hunt strangers like Tiger,
And replace euphoria with dysphoria.
Oh children of Adam!
We are one family.
Do away with xenophobia,
And put on xenophilia like a regalia...

Follow the Fire
Stilled, hushed solitude is required
To set my soul on fire
A natural setting desired
Before spring's beauty expires
Woodsy terrain along the creek
Are where lovely azalea
Blossoms spread, and sunlight seek
Spring plants in their regalia
These soften my soul to the Spirit
Gray clouds become cobalt
Words revealed to my merit
I become worth my salt

A Steep Descent of a Small River
Once I tried
to embrace a cascade
A steep descent of a slim river
With a soft
regalia of steps
but she sprinkled scantily on me
But I was
aroused, flushed and reddened.
Enjoying her warm and soft impact
Before she
became a cataract
with strong undercurrents and deep holes.

A Pride of Tiger Lilies
While weeding in my vegetable garden,
I took a needed break, from my hoeing.
I gazed along the creek over the glen,
a pride of tiger lilies opening.
It appeared to me an exposition,
a thousand deep, emerging on parade.
Row on row and column after column,
in full regalia, a marching brigade.
A brilliant orange with narrow spots of brown,
on each top hat, a yellow pollen crown.
Shoulder to shoulder in closed rank column,
marching, marching in ornamental plume....

Never- Ian Munywe
NEVER
No one lives forever,
so never say never.
Today you might be,
deep in the gutter.
Tomorrow perched,
in the highest rafter.
That is
the beauty of life.
Sometimes we win,
sometimes we lose.
We all came here,
as dependants.
Of our mothers` alms.
Deeds entrenched in,
love for us.
We will go,
with nothing.
Except regalia,
to bid earth.
A bitter sweet ,
farewell.
I am no sage,
but someone tells me.
No one lives forever,
so never say never.
