Redhead

I don't need roses on my bed;
I have roses in my head.
Every time I think of you,
A thought rose blooms.
Red petals of love
Opening up...

Prepositions

Is it a 'by' or is it an 'over'
The prepositions always confuse me,
The redhead ginger that passed by me killed me,
The car that ran over me killed me.

At some time years old,
I was told,
To look her in the eyes;
Whether she's Black, White,
Asian or Latina,
Look her in the eyes.
Redhead or brunette,
I don't regret,
Looking her in the eyes.

Premium Member Lucille Ball

Here lies the remains of the great Lucille Ball
The best fiery redhead comedian of them all
Even after she kicked drunk Desi Arnez to the curb
Her vitameatavegamin TV episode was superb

Handkerchief Touched His Face

Deeply etched crystal doors
Stone arched mansion corridors
Family members country estates
Hounds skittering on marble slate
Clinging intoxicating rose perfume
Stirringly beautiful graceful redhead
Read invitation wide eyes little smile

Where Love Became So

Angels fluff the bitter snow.
the frozen lake was a river’s know,
that run rapids in season warmer flow.
for now, Angels fluff the bitter snow,
at where I met her love in winter; as weather go.
 that she’s a flaming redhead,
swelter of lust, as affection grows.

Sexy Redhead

Daphne, I love you
in your purple dress
You're my favourite of the gang
to that I must confess
Your blonde friend just makes traps
and the brainy one is nerdy
The canine and the skinny one
eat huge burgers quite insanely
Your role is kind of quirky
but you're prettier than the others
I don't know who to thank for that
perhaps the animators

The Redhead Down the Hall- Collaboration

Magnetic fascination
Provokes intoxication
As I feel deeply compelled
To exalt admiration
From the Redhead
Who lives down the hall

I feel deeply compelled
To be dreaming
Of the redhead
With the creamy white skin
And intoxicating green eyes
Who lives down the hall

Male Attraction--Notes From a Redhead

MALE ATTRACTION—notes from a redhead

Men short and tall
  Old and young
   Black , white
     And all delightful shades between
   I implore you to listen

  Wolf whistles
   Clever quips
   Please don’t stop
Ignore the disdain of women in black glasses
There is no better
Pick me up
Lift me up
Turn me round
Fly me high
Than the sweet eyes
  That follow me
     On the street.

Premium Member After Watching The Quiet Man

A movie set in Innisfree,
so green and beautiful to see -
the sun burned through the dew and mist,
but it was in my head - did not exist.
Flaming redhead lass, you will be missed.

A voice from the old-country calls Dave,
and there's nothing left for me to save,
in L.A, twenty-first century.
Her voice sings a birdsong melody,
and I leave this note no one will see.

Premium Member A Life Taken Too Soon

He was a redhead boy, sweet, with an exuberant soul, filling our hearts with joy. No longer are we whole. His life an accident stole! Gone is our beloved Dale, who was our greatest boon, gone beyond this earth’s veil, beyond stars, beyond pale moon - a life taken too soon. Premium Member Crowing Like a Rooster

Let me tell you of something happening years ago: It was in Atlantic City at the Playboy Hotel and Casino. A redhead guy was at a craps table inside this joint. He crowed like a rooster each time he made his point. I said to him: "In case you did not know, the sun came up seven hours ago". Inspired by a comment I made to one of Caren Krutsinger's poems.

This Is the Reason Why We'Re the Dynamic Duo

A breath of fresh air,
On the darkest of days.
My better half,
When I’m not strong,
To be good enough.
My sanity,
My silver lining.
The person to fill me
With cheesy clichés,
And a stupid grin.
Life’s not easy and
Not even close to being fair,
But having that crazy redhead
As my very best friend…
Well, let’s just say
I’ll have smiles to
Last an entire lifetime

Orange and Purple Rhymes

Rhyming for you so you are not blue
A redhead reads to a fellow in yellow
In a meadow green these words unseen
By sky sunset orange while ...... hmmm....
Animals forage? ...no
The boars cringe? ........no no
We have a corn binge...... nope
We wait for mornge.... not a word

Glorange, florange, bornge, quornge.....
Can't do it, new line.

By sky dusted purple with a ...... hmmm .........

American Beauty

Hair golden like the suns rays,
Figure that was va-va-voom,
That wiggle when you walked,
Men stared women frowned,
That beauty spot was not needed,
Acting like a dumb blond,
Not dumb, nor blond a redhead she was,
Actress and sex symbol,
Talented through and through,
She died to young,
Legend, icon remembered by everyone,
Murder, accident or suicide,
We will never know,
Norma jean remembered.

Premium Member My Head Is a Bowl

I have a bowl for a head
I have a bowl for a head
Hollowed out for flowers
You'd think I'd be dead

I hold my soul in a lotus
My soul is in a lotus
My soul is a redhead
As you already noticed.

In this rhyming epistle
I've got ivy and thistle
Hear a tune that I whistle
To my stamen and my pistil.

Butterflies are my persons
We set out on excursions
Such pleasant exertions
Cuz my head is a bowl.

Her First Time

my niece Bess
hangs her head
not in shame
over her head
married too soon
macho man
4 month baby
overwhelmed
where did she go
disappeared into motherhood
thin as a rail
wifedom
tail between her legs
a young girl who should be singing songs
on stages
around the world fell for
lust and a redhead
a burly bossy handsome man
whos charm for me was transparant
but then
I've seen him before
and this was her
first time.

Plumber Limerick

With plunger in hand Fred was called from his bed
To the homestead of Sue a sexy redhead
The water bed pouring
As hubby was snoring
Fred was fine-tuning Sue till sunrise instead

Hubby woke peckish and went down for some bread
He was still unaware yet of Sue and Fred
Fine-tuned to perfection
No fear of detection
Sang 'Move over Darling' and jumped in with Fred
