A Life Taken Too Soon

He was a redhead boy,
sweet, with an exuberant soul,
filling our hearts with joy.
No longer are we whole.
His life an accident stole!

Gone is our beloved Dale,
who was our greatest boon,
gone beyond this earth’s veil,
beyond stars, beyond pale moon -
a life taken too soon.
