Her First Time

my niece Bess
hangs her head
not in shame
over her head
married too soon
macho man
4 month baby
overwhelmed
where did she go
disappeared into motherhood
thin as a rail
wifedom
tail between her legs
a young girl who should be singing songs
on stages
around the world fell for
lust and a redhead
a burly bossy handsome man
whos charm for me was transparant
but then
I've seen him before
and this was her
first time.

Young Love! ...sometimes it wins. Thank you for sharing your feelings on my “WHAT DOES FRIENDSHIP MEAN TO YOU?” blog. It felt great to read such heartwarming thoughts. Married to your best friend...a super blessing in life. Lovingly, Dane Ann

Funny how a small muscle can overrule the mind. Sad write but very well done.
