It borders the Celtic Sea and Atlantic Ocean
It must look so nice with the waves in motion

Beautiful Krakoan flowers thrive to the land
They must be beautiful to view again and again

At low tide the lighthouse is reachable by foot
If I had my camera I'd give it a permanent look...

Really quite neat and tidy
Tight – all square, save for the small hole
    chin-reachable    near the top

Sometimes I wonder what passers-by would think
    could they see its form?

Empty pack - no cigarettes,
but another pack has one.
Should she smoke it now?
Cigarette stained fingers
stroked the tube.

She teased her mouth with it,
unlit, but lighter reachable,
calming her a bit...
How rare is it to tease
oneself like this?

Five minutes, and resolve
dispersed. The flame flickered
admirably.  (She saw it.)
Cigarette went gently to her mouth
and she drew breath.

Her nicotine heart thanked her once again.

Cry empty heart; a lonely tear
that I have always shed.
Through wake of poetry I write
and pray this yearning's fed.

My desire above all
is a reachable impasse.
a hunger starved in childhood gone
and memories I passed.

I wonder if she calls my name,
the daughter - one of four.
The one who brought grandsons to life
and still her eyes ignore.

It's on this day that my heart aches
and one I labor of.
Although a woman I've become,
I crave my mother's love....

this earth,
it has so many,
vyinng for so little,
which is made available,
that games are played,
so that things are gained,
they cut,maim, and murder,
for a mere full larder,
its everywhere,
with everyone,
and if you are not part,
