A very lucky rabbit
Is the northern snowshoe hare …
Each year he gets new furry boots,
And a fur coat with each pair!

Hipperity hipperity hop
bunny so full he could pop
squeezes down his hole
bumping into mole
who gave his ear a sound wop
My rabbit won’t come when called;
Misbehaving in every way;
But it’s the only way, being bald,
I’ll ever have a bad hare day.
Rabbit
In the dark she steps,
in the footsteps from before.
Silently she eats.

These Covid tests
Like rabbit and turtle race
In their race their phase
Rapid tests fast like rabbit
Polymerase slow like turtle
I planted flower seeds
on my rabbit's grave
and they never came up.
But today, by the cross,
was a buttercup
and that is all I need.

They really had rogue reprobate habits
But then they had some little coonbibits
I am weak; I am strong.
I am right; I am wrong.
I am happy; I am sad.
I am good; I am bad.
I am real; I am fake.
I am rabbit; I am snake.
A rabbit, of course, does not care
It mates any time any where
A funny bunny
Will take your money
And then promptly split with an hare
It's often felt, but never meant,
my misinterpreted intent.
When men of straw force me to follow,
them, from truth, down rabbit hollow.
I try not to make a habit
of accosting every squirrel or rabbit,
and, to tell you the truth, anyway,
they really don't have much to say.

One could question the Easter Bunny
Why a limerick should be funny
A rabbit egg
May pull your leg
But it can't give you love nor money!
a white rabbit
runs across virgin snow. . . .
a gunshot rings out

My Grandma showed,on the moon a rabbit,
I was small when I saw it,
I know now it's a large pit,
But I see the moon today,my Grandma sits!
Loneliness is never funny
And one can't buy love with money
When lost in despair
Along comes an hare
With eggs he claims eased her bunny
Fatuous and dead obviously
The red rabbit is red lonely
Open gates veer upon
Shut doors red with brawn
The white rabbit is painted redly
I'm a rabbit. That's what I said,
and I don't care what you have read -
with eyes on both sides of my head,
you won't ever catch me dead.
