Notes About The Poem

Rabbit is inspired by a nightly visitor that eats the seeds that fall from my bird feeder during the day. Rabbit is a modern contemporary English haiku, nature, non-rhyming in 3 lines of 17 syllables, 5, 7, 5, syllables, and written in 13 words with capitals and punctuation. Centered for aesthetic symmetry the image is by me Josehf Lloyd Murchison.

Sweet little steps to her midnight snack. Love this one Josehf. I can visualize this bunny from your imagery. They also visit my feeder, so I leave scrap veggies and fruits out for then, too. :)

Thankyou In the fall I put out a pumpkin and watch the squirrels dig in it for the seeds.
