With prayers I helped along

First Recital
monorhymed quintet

Aunty Karen, what is this?
A guitar, my little miss,
this is how you play, sweet sis.
Her music makes both dogs hiss;
but to Ella, it is bliss.

Closer Than a Kiss
How can we get closer than a sweet kiss?
Two lovers drift in the arms of first sin
There is the sharing of lovers own skin
Closer than a kiss, where it did begin
That’s how we get closer sharing a kiss

Trees dance while autumn sweeps the day until the music fades but when boughs brood beneath the snow to rest in winter's shade, each naked limb sleeps undismayed

I get a little bolder getting older since my unravel, voice travels to my Beholder. Rough and tumble, rolls along, but you’re not wrong if you are shrinking, not thinking lyrics to a song… ————

On the Edge of a Dream
envelope quintet

Legs and feet are in stocks, no sound from my voicebox
at one edge of a dream, I want to scream.
On the other side lies long-awaited surprise
After panting upstream, pushing sweat to extreme
my voice unlocks, "She's beautiful!" Motherhood rocks....

The Rock of Courage - Five Lines
True courage is a firm and steady rock
Amid the quicksand of sinking despair
If you are bogged down with worry and care
And really wish to get away from there
Stand on the rock and get out of the muck

Premium Member The Lollipop Quintet Prediction
The lollipop quintet is coming after dinner my six-year-old predicted.
I was slow to believe, I am not all- knowing like him, so feeling conflicted.
This quintet was at the door singing their lungs out at a quarter to seven.
I stared at my son, wonder what other talents he had gotten from heaven....

The sea is angry,
The winds echo her screaming;
The hurricane comes…

Torrential waves
Carry furry to the shores:
Fragility doomed…

Island paradise,
Poised and ready for combat;
Nature’s sad beauty…

Juxtaposition,
Nature canvassing herself:
Springtime hurricanes…

The calm sea rippling;
Lifeless bodies float ashore
The storm moves…...

Five lines in the sand – his quintet of children is skimming the surf

Like ariels chasing youth not yet knowing Plath’s substanceless blue

Streaming chariots of gleams into fireflies dragons dinosaurs and castles

Oblivious to extinction the full impact of tides and dereliction of beauty

Just foot prints on the shore reaching fast for jetsam flotsam and joy

Premium Member Into a Crimson Sea----Five Lines
A sound of bedtime prayers are in the trees, where the doves have nestled among the leaves. They smooth the feathers of a restless day. Like the night-birds,... my worries lift away, sailing far, into twilight's crimson seas.

The ocean has her romance with the shore;
At times she rushes in with wild delight—
But often creeps ashore with timid soul.
Just like the ocean, we accept our plight
Of ebb and flow—life’s highs and lows explore.

But when her little girl is sleeping sound,
The keyboard’s where our poet will be found,
To write some magik lov - her words astound;

Premium Member Five Mouse Quintet
Five mice form a quintet and sing their heart song.
Many brides hear them and sing right along.
Pretty soon they are making money with their happy tune.
Their sense of music and style is giant, over the moon.

They make a business out of it and become quite a hit.
Have you heard this orchestra? Asks one little chit.
I like them forever, they are truly terrific, says a mouse, lit.
They are now being wedding planners- they sing, dance and flit....

PHRASIS IV
Enduring freshness the illuminating
imagery,the play of fancy in the
passage of sublimity,exquisite
beauty without illusion
accompany the charm of
vagueness,our consciousness
precise enough plays freely,
sheds light on our condition.
We crave for more interwoven
and interfused in poetic truth
with an instruct of delight.
From Alfred Austin- The Bridling of Pegasus
