On the Edge of a Dream
envelope quintet
Legs and feet are in stocks, no sound from my voicebox
at one edge of a dream, I want to scream.
On the other side lies long-awaited surprise
After panting upstream, pushing sweat to extreme
my voice unlocks, "She's beautiful!" Motherhood rocks.
