Autumn…
             Grips summer’s hand
           Slyly – at time’s whimsy
 Quelling heated, tantrumed outbursts
                    …Cool rain...

Silent
the words fell silent
on deafened ears
no one to listen
no one to tell
quietly screaming
wanting to be heard
missing their mark
in an angry world
quelling anger
misunderstood...

Snow
Abundance bone chilling, defrosting everything, fells great herbaceousness, icebound January kills lawns made nearly opaque, quelling riotous snow. Toppling under volatile winds xylocopa yearns zealously

Precious Hours...
Precious Hours
Spent envying your
perception of 'more'

Spent quelling your
magnificence in the
interest of climbing
ladders designed by

Those who have already
fallen....

Premium Member Smiling At Death
One by one we saw close ones die
But ours was not to question why
We sank each time but rose again
Holding strong and quelling hearts sigh

Bound to form and attachment chain
Suffering deepened sense of pain
It was all delusion of course
For in each life, must fall some rain...

Quelling the storm

When we break out
From the illusion of separation
To recognize our Identity which
Exceeds birth and death..
We can then experience the
Dance of mind and world
As spontaneous dreams arising
In our expansive Identity..
This is liberation
A quelling of the storm......

The world is my play place
She, my play thing
He is frolicking
with so much life
She is fading
Utterly drained out
She sighs
uttering songs of sorrows

staring blankly
stalling for time
Quietly Stalking
clutching her rod
quelling her hidden storm

sowing her thoughts

hence recreating her world....

Moonlight
Moonlight

Mild sweet swelling dew. Radiant brow, renewed. Weave me a tone of haste, silence we will not waste. Gather my heart spent tone, caress my wavy crown.

Thine, I am yours, spiritual hand, moonlight mother, sing the sooth, yours the giving, the longing mood. Say the word, demand the dwelling, yours the natural rising. Temperament quelling....

Beauty and the Beast
A pulchritudinous creature
Oblivious to the turmoil
Stirred in a young mans chest
Tamed the beast in me
Sublimating me
From my true desires
Quelling the fires
Redirecting my passions
Reemploying my sexual energy
So we partake
Of the socially acceptable
Exercise our creative bent
Until the time is right
That blessed moment
When love supplants lust
And passions flame can burn...

Premium Member Morning Revival
Raindrops send their watery kisses down
shimmering sprinkles bless the weary ground
humble flowers lift grateful faces to the sky
leaves take notice and open their stems wide.

Dappled light softens after early morning rain
cleansing nature’s colors brilliantly again
sweet air wafts through fields of bending wheat
river meanders in new patterns quelling summer’s heat.

                           Never sleeps
                       Always wide-eyed
                   Walking past darkness
                        Into a ray of light
                 Embracing all challenges
                  Quelling every adversity
Pushing on when the going gets tough
And nothing or no one gets in the way

Secret Battles—Silent Wars

Telling my secret battles

Celebrating the untold wars

Unfolding my choicest memories

Surfing the virgin’s pathways

Rhyming sacred hymns

Recalling stolen graces

Unveiling the hidden shadows

Parting the puffy clouds

Unmasking the hidden faces

Untangling woven phases

Quelling our sumptuous yearnings

Quieting every inner wailing

Quailing at the broken words

Stoking my ethereal flame...

Signs In Line
It was a long line
as I queued to make my purchase;
just one item for the checkout.
All were getting frustrated,
showing signs.

As the old lady at the front
searched her purse
for the right change
the contents spilled,
rolled across the floor
in all directions.

We put down our baskets
to help with the gathering.

For each of us
such a smile,
showing a sign
of gratitude,
quelling frustration:
made us feel as one,
waiting in line....

Premium Member Tempest Deep
I ride the waves of innocence
on the ocean of The Now.
From the depths of dank
a demon stalks my bow.

On deck afraid, alone I stood
quelling fear the best I could.
Furled the jib and reefed the main
what you do when the wind's insane.
Then rising atop a stormy swell
the giant beast straight from hell.

Peering so deep in its deathly eyes
I could hear a thousand sailors' cries.
The chilling truth that I could see
was the evil thing in fact was me....

Premium Member Hope Prevails
a smile
so forced
contrived

your eyes
have lost their spark
i hardly recognize your face
as the contortions
betray the pain
for so long now
you’ve tried to dispel

the toll on your body
hard to bear
as exhaustion drains
the life out of you

the color flushed
quelling how fears grow
we strive to do our best
to stay forever hopeful

Mournining Earth
Pardon me bleeding piece of earth
I see your excruciating pains
Like a pregnant woman in labour date
Loosing her beauty along with stains

Creatures atimes welcome evil as fair
Slowly quelling nature in nature rage
Visiting souls in journey not fare
Mother earth our boat through age

O' remember us in your days
For you are still our home
Good or evil you richly repays
So lets find her freedom

Come, come the earth is crying
Lets find a way to stop her dying...

COPLA VEINTICUATRO : This Bad Guy World

Let’s take it one step further yet
There’s nothing per se good nor bad
“Thinking makes it so.”*

Life’s indifferent to conflict
Holds unfolding drama a fad
Some kind of show

Playing on centillion planets
Dark energy in dark matter
Pulling the strings

Weird bodies on other planets
Writhing quelling one another
Evil GOOD brings?
