Ancestral ripples infuse my mind
As I look out early morn.

Twilight luscious, Vermillion hued
The day anew reborn.

Frangipani scents the air
As mockingbirds serenade,

I love this land, where I was born
Where my roots were laid.

A menagerie of memories I have,

that evening in my ancestral home,
as past the menagerie we roamed.
Your luscious lips of vermillion
broke my heart in a trillion
pieces as mockingbirds deluded
in the  twilight garden secluded
by frangipani which infuse the
air by the moonlit pellucid ripples.

they're vindictive
the way they dangle themselves 
above my heartstrings,
periodically plucking

they just hang there
like an untame pennon

The air there was infused with scent of Frangipani
At twilight vermillion rays made the water so
flying mockingbirds made ripples 
 with droppings on  the pellucid river
Some trees bent down with fruits so luscious 
The only sound that broke the tranquil

Poor animals made noises 
Wanting desperately  their release....

a red tailed hawk is flying high;
it scans for prey, which soon may die ...
rabbits run for your life I want to cry!

I watch transfixed, I am spellbound

Enchanted island land of Bermuda
there was such beauty to feel and behold.
To see beaches with crystal blue waters
and smell frangipani flowers of gold.

The island’s menagerie of mockingbirds,
the cahow is infused with warmth from twilight,
eerie cries in the vermillion sunset,
ripples of wings in a glorious flight.

Bermuda, a place of ancestral charm,
luscious trees and seas pellucid and calm....

It is September and I fly over the twilight with my
Brothers and sisters, luscious ripples of a moment,
Pellucid waters underneath.
We are mockingbirds escaping this menagerie
Of thoughts, pouring in, to infuse our lifeline, our
Bloodline, drinking the nectar of the Frangipani,
As it turns our feathers to acrylic and 
We live, once again, in nothing but vermilion sunsets and
Rivers thick with paint.

Unlike the day before, the grass is covered in frost
an ethereal aroma of something unusual fills the air
and for the first time in a while, I am feeling the sensation of being truly alive
The  sky looks more azure and pellucid than ever before,
so does my mind

I never knew winter held this much healing power within her
the serenity she brings with her is unmatched by any other time of the year
