Water

Water
 i whispered

droplets pellucid
means so much
releasing fret
embracing soul

carib of earth
preserve humankind
 without you
we all died dry

gurgling your song
drains body
corroborated intention

keep you

 clear
 clean
fresh

not silenced shall all tongues
want you to remain
dont keep silent
sing out loud
its beauty

water
hear my calls
my intimate
is all yours

A poem about water - it's a beauty. Water is a very important element, without it we would die. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

Water is something Mars lacks. Our planet earth should consider itself lucky.

I love this because it really does embody how it feels to be in physical contact with water. It almost parches you just by reading it, and I mean that in the very best of ways. The structure of the poem is like a column, reminiscent of water, too. This poem weeps with adoration and feeling.
