Pink bleeds to orange
alight with patchwork color;
The stars awaken,
their sleepy eyes catch the Moon;
Perfect Florida Sunset.
Seasonal harvests,
show glorious scenery
Below azure blues
her response, golden spreads grace
Patchwork quilts abound in awe
early Spring's sun
penetrates bay windows
warming kind
old souls
removing
patchwork quilts
from their knees
snow white silence iced
with patchwork echo effect ~
the observer view
A patchwork of snow
Lies still on green checkered fields
Melts way down below...
As my heart stirs, renewed feels
Our love yet eager to flow
Its spring time
When beauty is released
Like a hand stitched
Patchwork masterpiece
Nature shows off
Her spring time finery
Spread like a throw
Over all you see
Form:
A patchwork city
Where danger sleeps
On rose beds in the concrete.
And the city’s eternal flame
Eternally warms
The hands of young boys
With the faces of old men.

Autumn
approaches,
patchwork palettes,
sweet sienna sap, and savory seeds
augment this flavorful fragrant season,
softly cooing
to the winds

Illusions,symbols of childhood,
coloured filled swathes of painterly
hues.A private fantasy in slow
motion suspended in space.An
abstracted blur in flashbacks of
yesteryear,caught in a daydream.

We are painting the
wrought-iron spider webs
with silver moonlight.
My soul and the universe
are burning

and what is heard in the end
is funny screams

stitching memory
a patchwork of thought
words
fitting-together
like patchwork,
then, sound spills
like a chorus thrills,
then the poem,
a fire raging
consuming,
overwhelmingly the air,
with urgency,
I stand far away,
in timelessness....
listening.
Here in my heart lies a patchwork of scraps
alongside a love, once whole and beautiful
Here in my soul pastiche melodies of songs
that spoke of flower fields and loving you.
Why would I silence my eyes for the night
And surrender to slumber
And a fractured patchwork of pictures,
When I could let them recount
Each electric detail of the evening just past
That I spent in your eyes, on your lips, on your heart?
A stitching of parables,
a weaving of psalms
Whether ancient or modern,
the truth plaited long
The story we tell,
with one pattern beset
A patchwork of tailors
